@@abhidahiya4007 Thar or ISUZU ve modified ha .. Gurkha ma srf lift kit or All train tyres modify kiye hue hain + Gurkha ka articulation bhi achcha Nahin Hai fir bhi desert mein Gurkha ka Koi Todd Nahin Hai

@@seven6094 LOL. Modifications like bumper don't make a car more capable on surface. Tyres and lift kit are one of the most important modifications. Thar is with stock tyres.

Gurkha is the only true off-roader with Mercedes Engine and individual suspension. Not like Thar's lorry like spring plate. It also has full optional differential on demand. Proud to be the first one in Tamil Nadu state to buy it when the product released back in 2014. SOLD it for financial reasons later. But it's an awesome off-roader. One drive it under water until it reaches and submerges the bonnet indicator just where you can see it for pathway guideline. Did it N number of times in Maayaar. When we were on TNEB water survey
I felt it was unfair comparison. All other vehicles had all 4 wheels submerged in sand. Gurkha had only rear.

Diff lock makes a suv go anywhere. With Gurkha I'd say the other issues (mechanical) if solved Gurkha will become an amazing suv. Hope force listens and amend them.

Most of them didn't air down their tyres enough. More rubber more traction. All-terrain is better suited in sand than Mud-terrain tyres cuz they don't dug like aggressive M/T. Traction board is a must for sand. It's good to have even a cheap traction board (Chinese) if maxtrax is hard to get.

you have to keep rotating steering and keep the RPM below 1500. that's the key to recover in sand.
