very nice jacket!!

A nice techwear belt would be great for a giveaway i think. Several buckle technologies and good brands to choose from (multiple $ levels to for different winners) it also work for any gender/build. Love seeing the growth of this channel! keep it up!

normally when i see "packable" i stay away but pleasantly surprised by this jacket, might try to cop one myself. for the giveaway some accessories would be nice, hats, pouches, bags. hope you hit the 1k mark soon.

worn with the sling this jacket looks tuff

I bought the latest version of this one. While it does look exactly the same and does pack into its side pocket it no longer has slings in deployed mode or a sling in packed mode. It does however have a carabineer that has a bottle opener built into it.

I had this jacket in grey, was an awesome jacket. Hood was weird though

little BIG brother I’m always on the look out for the alpine in black. I have a hard time justifying paying the 1250 resell they sit for right now, I could get an acronym jacket from superfuture for around that price and I’d honestly rather have an acronym jacket than the alpine one. Especially since the newest iteration with the like tiger camo or whatever only goes for like 350 which is under retail

afaik gore windstopper is the traditional gore tex membrane and mostly used in 3l softshell materials like this parka seems to be made of. seam taping does not have to impede packagin, though. but most softshells are not taped since the fleece fabric in the inner layer does not take the seam tape good enough. also i would have liked a bit more footage of the jacket - especially when somebody is talking about gusstes and cut and range of movement, i can't judge really how well the item is cut when I am not seeing pictures of it and the movements you can do in it. i have to say that Nike ACG stuff is not in my core range of interests, since i know most of it wont fit me anyways, but i can see the value others are getting from these videos. I suspect that demand of erlsn nike acg pieces will fade away as sson as the good pieces become more rare, but who knows when that will be the case. regarding a giveaway - i honestly dont know. first, i still should resolve my own giveaway from over half a year ago ... will do that on this weekend, i hope. second, giving away techwear related stuff is always hard. good stuff has a high pricepoint, cheap stuff has its obvious downsides. clothing has to fit, which makes it hard. I think accesoires like belts (DIY / havonalabs /whatever) or key hooks or other small items could work best. depending on the pricepoint, you could also team up with somebody in the community (snek/crkdsaint/blakebruh) and see what you can do together, but this of course will cost a bit more time and money. so as always, it depends. for my own next giveaway (allthough i will have to wait a bit longer till the next big milestone, maybe i even do one at 500 subs, who knows) i am thinking about doing some DIY goodies and giving them away - investing your own time is a pretty nice way to say thank you to somebody.

Sew Much Black this particular shell is a 2.5L one. I was incorrect in the video. And yea I ended up not having b roll of me moving around the arms too much or highlighting the articulated cuts of it. I’m leaning more towards accessories for the giveaway. Perhaps I’ll have a gift card or something to a brand so the winner can choose however. Idk I really like your idea of collaborating with someone to maybe do it or possibly I’ll just make the gift from scratch and have it be custom. Unsure but will think it through until I reach 1000 subs !

Hm, that jacket is pretty dope, remind the last erlson acg's gore-tex parkas. Is it available to add insulator/liner for this piece? It's supposed to have a zipper inside of the neck area and arm cinches

Alexander K it doesn’t have zippers for insulators l. That’s why I sized up one size in order to fit some insulating layer underneath
