By ‘century child’ Tarja incarnation of Nightwish was really ‘motoring’ , ready for the definitive Tarja album ‘once’. Over half a decade later, with Annette in between, Floor gives a dynamic and freshness to the entire Nightwish songbook. So glad that you are so into and appreciative of Nightwish, but never forget that Tarja and Annette are worthy members of the total NW experience.

I love this song. When the band drops and Floor cames with that soft and angelic "Why am I loved only when I'm gone?"... instant full body chills. Keep enjoying, there's a lot more to do like this, Buenos Aires 2018, Tampere, and as someone suggested, Floor's own concert in Amsterdam is amazing. Cheers from Buenos Aires!!!

Hello again Debbie. Nightwish Army Phoenix subscriber back for you. I love this song. It was really funny that Floor had a costume, zipper change problem while the instrumental, Last Of The Wilds, was played. Then she had to rush on stage and actually missed her mike swipe the first time. It still worked out wonderfully. Loved it and loved your reaction.

To me this song always represents a musical style shift what happened to them. I remember so well what my 'reaction' was when I listened Century Child the first time and it starts with Bless the Child: "is this Nightwish?" "wtf happened?" "so dark...so heavy...so cinematic...wow! Love it!"

OMG I'm truly amazed that you watched the entire show! It was almost 10 years ago in 2014, i was a 20 years old metalhead. Only information of Nightwish I had was 'They changed their original vocalist years ago'. I knew only one song of theirs, which was "She is My Sin" and that was all. Was not a fan or anything. On that awesomely random night, This show's DVD popped up on my laptop screen and i was like "eh, why not.." I watch entire live shows once or twice a year maybe. SO YEAH, 10 years later i still remember how amazed i was listening to Floor and Nightwish. I think the best word to describe how I felt is 'enchanted'. Now it is 2023 and I still have Floor's voice on many of my daily playlists.

They actually have a whole CD that is just all music! It's the second part of the album Human. :II: Nature. It's a very beautiful more of a classic piece, dedicated to our nature. I think you'd like it 😊

No , you don't know this. It is the last one from this show that you have not heard before. The first song on the 2002 Century Child album. It is the 1st song Marko worked on after joining the band in 2001. It was played at End of an Era if you want to hear it with Tarja. Don't forget to breath when you listen to Romanticide. LOL.

One of my favorites. It has some of my favorite poetic lyrics from Tuomas. These are the spoken words at the beginning and ending of the song, They are difficult to make out over the music. A very profound statement on our journey of life from birth to death. Intro spoken words. “I was born amidst the purple waterfalls. I was weak, yet not unblessed. Dead to the world. Another blast from the past (Tarja era)!!! And for me, one of Floor's most epic Windmills (The stance and sensual movement towards the end). Plus....this song brings me back to my early teen years, when I got my Love for Metal music. NWSU/FloorFan 🤘😎🤘.

I think that Floor sang Tarja's songs really well - a little different but also good. Can you imagine Tarja on stage with Floor and Nightwish? I would pay any price for this concert.

"For some reason this has only been played 205 times" I think this songs "soul" belongs to that Tarja, Tuomas, Emppu, Marko & Jukka lineup. They always rocked like crazy this song. It was really easy to see that it was a really special song to them at that time in early 2000s.

@@NickBR57 Most definitely. One of the best songs to show what is Nightwish's Film Music Metal. I have always thought it's almost like triangle juxtapose with Nightwish: Lead singer is one, then there is Emppu&Marko guitars that sound like some angry Finnish farmer's chainsaw and between them is Tuomas' keys which connects the two extremes together and the drums give the heartbeat.
