I also love the fact that you are paying tribute to Emppu's work here. He is one of the most underrated guitarists in the metal scene because he is not a poser, but he does what the songs need everytime. He always brings a special spirit to the songs with his solos.

Emppu can shred with the best of them.....his trading off with Tuomas on "Shudder with the Beautiful" at Wembley was outstanding!

My first reaction was "I'd like to see her do Crue's "Kickstart My Heart", but then I thought "I don't know if she could handle it!". That is a high adrenaline song. A side benefit to your NW reactions is that you don't have to go to the gym to do cardio. Just cue up some NW and have Floorgasms until you hit your target heart rate. Approximately 12 seconds from what I can tell. )) I was thinking that if you ever do see them in concert, please make sure whoever you go with knows CPR!

If you want to add another band to listen to, you might give Epica a shot. On their 10th anniversary concert they perform Sancta Terra with a guest singer (Floor Jansen) accompanying Simone Simmons. Two fabulous singers who are best of friends with lots of respect for each other.
