Jon, the G22E does have a longer track and is the go to mount for dudes with SCBA/Gas mask mission sets, however probably the biggest thing is that it does not feature the break away function that the G24 has for Airborne and Air Assault mission requirements.

You're overlooking a ton of functionality on the INVG. You can swing the INVG over to the other eye in a pinch by just pushing to overcome the rotation.

Psst. Hey homie. I think you meant that’s a “pvs-14 arm” at 2:25 and that’s a “j-arm” at 3:00. The dovetail is on the “pvs-14 arm” that mounts to the g-24 vs. that crappy bayonet that mounts to the j-arm. Good range of equipment and shown features for sure. Thanks always. Jon, thank you for all the info. What is the reason the INVG only accepts the dual dovetail adapter? I’m planning on running a single pvs14 and based on your review it seems the INVG is the way to go. I would like to have the ability to switch eyes on the fly though and was looking at using the mod armory force-to-overcome dovetail j-arm. I know this also might have an issue with tolerances, as Sam from Silent Solutions mentioned Norotos to norotos mounts are best in the comments, but thought the capability might be worth it.

Argh! I got my G24 and Wilcox J-Arm but it would not seat. Well, it would with a little help from a small hammer. I filed it down on the edge and now it seats ok. there is no play on the dovetail but I was a little surprised that this arm could still give trouble as I was doing reading on GI arms being a hit and miss scenario. I'm a noob on this stuff so it's interesting to find all the quirks out.

The price doesnt justify the level of complexity when you can get/build an AR or especially buy a helmet more/less for nearly the same price.
