Hi! I made a mistake here! When I said in the video I'm sorry I didn't notice my English mistake before uploading! 日本は 駅が きれい (にほんは えきが きれい) I said "You make Japan subject" But I was meant to say "You make Japan topic" by using は particle. With this sentence, は is Topic marker and が is indication the subject! So にほんは is Topic and えき is the subject! So I should have said "You make Japan topic" by using は particle. But I used the word "Subject" where I needed to say "Topic" in English! Again, I'm sorry for the mistake. It is very unprofessional. I will try to check my English more carefully before uploading from next time!

It is NOT very unprofessional! You are NOT unprofessional. EVER! Normally mistakes don't matter. It's just the Topic vs Subject issue - it's a nightmare for English learners of Japanese because there's no real equivalent in (normal everyday) English. 申し訳ございません!

It's not unprofessional at all, don’t worry about that. It's professional that you added a clarifying note!

日本語ネイティブですが、助詞の違いは説明できなかったし、日本語を勉強してる人がひっかかるポイントとかがわからなかったので、すごくすっきりと説明されてて感動しています。日本で学校に通ってもこんな基礎の基礎の文法は教わらないので新鮮で楽しかったです!
Can you please make a video about compound particles like 「には」, 「では」, etc. Thanks.

I didnt realise this channel was so small, she deserves to be bigger.
I wish my classes were this clear. It really helps to have this stuff explained in English as it's introduced in Japanese. Immersion classes where they only speak/teach in the foreign language is only effective if you're learning slowly over multiple years--like when we were children.
i am so grateful that you produce these videos and explain things so well
you are so good at answering questions people might have, it helped me a lot! your skits at the start of videos are always amazing, thank you for the japanese help and the laughs! ^^
This was super helpful, thanks. My tutor never explained this to me in such a simple and easily understandable way.
I just found your channel and im in love 😭 thank you for all youve made so far
Soooo needed, you’re the best Miku Sensei!!!!!! Please do more!!! ❤️❤️

Thank you! Your lessons are explained in a way that is easier to understand :)
みく先生! ありがとうございます! I’ve been following your channel for a couple of days now and this was the video that actually got me to subscribe. Super clear explanations, variety of examples that uses plenty of vocabulary. It was absolutely amazing. 乾杯! Looking forward for more lessons like this one. Keep them coming!
I love your channel. I study with a teacher and know it already, and yet, your videos complete details for me. It might not seem like much, but in reality, these are so damn important to know and understand thoroughly when talking/writing yourself. Thank you!!
Miku-sensei, your video gives me motivation to continue studying!!! Thank you so much!
Thank you so much for this video! You explain everything so thoroughly! Now I understand に and で very well!!
I learned a lot from this channel, samples and explanations are very clear. ありがとう。
この動画とても役に立ちました!みく先生ありがとうございました!
this video was so helpful, thank you very much!! you're wonderful 💜💜🫂
I love this format, sensei!
One the best lesson for に and で particle Very very helpful みく先生本当にありがとう 😀😀✨✨
This was really helpful, thanks :)
Another verb that takes the に particle which is often missed by learners is 勤める (つとめる), "to work for". It helps to remember that if you rather translate it as "to be employed by", which stresses that it's a "state" rather than an "action", and thus takes the に particle.

Yes but just to make things fun , 働くtakes the でparticle. Don’t complain. English is just as crazy 🤣
very informative !! I really needed this
Thank you very much for this video it litteraly changed my life!!!
It was VERY VERY helpful!!! Thanks for existing!! I've been studying japanese for over a year and particles are still a huge challenge for me. Big hug from Guadalajara
Brilliant way of explaining, really helpful, well done n keep it up.
Very important video. ありがとうございました。
この動画が本当に助けた。ありがとうみく先生!
Thank you thank you thank you!!! I have been studying Japanese for so many years, and you made this lesson so clear to me, and I also learnt a few other things that I have always wondered - eg. Why I always use the い in my verbs and also the を in my sentences and yet many Japanese people don’t ! Keep up the great work. Much appreciated 👍✅
This was a good lesson Thankyou for making this.
It is great great video. I have transcribed the whole video into notes for my grammar book. Thanks so much Miku sensei.
Miku san, your video are always very helpful, thank you very much!

Very helpful. Thank u 😊
This video is very helpful! I'm always confused on when to use "ni" and "de" particles. Thank you so much Sensei! 👍
Miku-san, thanks a lot, already saw 5 of your videos. Great way to complete five years of theory at school, with a great sensei, but where practice was quite difficult to organise, especially since covid made trips impossible.
This video was invaluable! Thank you!
Thank you miku. I learned something new from this video
I love your characters!!!! Thank you Sensei you are so wonderful
This... this video explained all my confusions. Thank you so much for the test section, Miku sensei.
I was always discouraged by the lenght of your videos, but oh boy it is worth it
Wow, so helpful. I already kinda knew に、で、の、は but it was so great to see them used in a variety of situations. I like the little questions to the class during the grammar portion too. It was a fun test to try and think of the sentences quickly.
Okay THANK YOU I'm taking up N5 right now and this is precisely one of the things I've been struggling with.
Very, very, very helpful. Thanks.
I love the way you do your vidéo, so much fun and then easiest to learn and understand. After, praticly two years, I still enjoy a lot. Merci Merci Merci

I learned a lot, thank you MikuSan :)
この動画からたくさん勉強になりました。😁👍🏻
Your videos have helped me improve my Japanese quite a lot! =D I've been waiting for a video about this topic xD While you see many people have problems differentiating between は and が (or other particles), I think this right here is by far the most confusing of all.
これは便利です!ありがとうございます!Also, can you please make a video that explains the differences between が and は topic markers?お願いします!
すごくはっきりした。 本当にありがとう
この動画とっても面白い‼️ありがとうございます 英語がわからないですがなんとなく分かりました😅😅😅 いろんな例教えてくれて分かりやすくなります ありがとうございます muchas gracias 🤩
Very interesting. Arigato, Miku sensei.
Your explanation of these particles is so perfect that.... uao, understanded!
Your videos are amazing!
Thank you so much, sensei! I understand the difference now 💖
ミク先生、ありがとう!This clears up so much about using で and に. I had been using it mostly correctly basically by emulating native speakers. But this make so much sense!

Miku-San. You are quickly becoming my favourite Sensei right next to Misa from Japanese Ammo. You both use funny examples of what mistakes sound like and that always helps me remember. Being in a trashcan, throwing garbage into an even smaller trashcan 🤣🤣🤣. I will never forget that image. Also really loved the strict breakdown and the little sketches you do sometimes. Your channel has just grown by a new member. 😘
