For those that didn't watch the game live. There was a high sticking penalty called on Edmonton with 2 minutes left in the 3rd period where on the replay it was actually the Winnipeg player high sticking his own teammate.. but it wasn't reviewable since it was just a minor penalty. Almost cost them the game. The hilarious part is the ref that called the penalty was standing right beside them.

There were more oilers fans in attendance at Canada Life than there were Jets fans. That's pathetic.

Oilers fans travel and for all the years Winnipeg didn't have an nhl team, many of the hockey fans there became oilers fans during that time. Winnipeg will always have the highest concentration of oilers fans via proximity to edmonton and the other fact that I pointed out

Jets played really good, and the game result could have went either way. Oilers are a great team, hopefully the Jets are out of their slump, and can develop consistency. They need to get back into playing their system, and not deviate from it, and they will do great.

Wow, this must have been a great game to attend. Two teams that can score, expect to score and don’t sit back on a lead. Leafs, take note! Why did we ever get rid of Hyman. They’ll be splitting up Matthew’s and Marner next. Anywho, THIS is why fans watch hockey!
