Fellow Flames fan here- Hyman is my favourite Oiler. The guy has so much personality, and battles so hard.

Mcdavid undressed Burns like he was an AHL prospect, crazy thing about that game was they only had one power play, and Drai and Kane were relatively quiet and they still got 6 goals.

My nephew plays hockey. I tell him that McDavid is a one in a million player, but if you work hard, playing like Hyman is achievable.

Zack was a great signing by the Oilers! He and Kane are old time hockey players, they thrive when the going gets tough!

Let's all take a moment to not only appreciate the talent of McDavid, but his resilience. How many exceptionnaly talented players would have crumbled under so much pressure and scrutiny in a canadian market while being the captain of a cup contender team who was recently having the worst possible start to the season? Almost any player. But not McDavid, who responded like a champion. 19 points in 7 games, that's his response, way to lift the team out of the nhl dubster. Great video as always Johnny!

This game was so exciting exciting for Oil fans. They really looked like a lethal championship team. McDavid is just otherworldly, but you’re right: the combo of Hyman’s doggedness and skill is truly impressive.

He's literally always played with superstars his whole career. In Toronto, he was ALWAYS with AM34 and then either Nylander or Marner. Greatly missed, but such a great guy you're just happy that he's succeeding

Hyman is such a nice guy, fits in with this team like a missing puzzle piece for sure and always seems so happy to be with the Oilers at this point in his career. He’s my next jersey for sure.

Honestly we have been doing this for a bit but we are doing everything perfectly except for the defense who haven't been doing the greatest especially the 3 line of defense and 4 line of offense But the offense have been doing great and the goal tending from Skinner is amazing!

Hyman's doing what Puljujarvi was hoped to do, converting scoring chances created by McDavid. That one-timer at 1:27 is a perfect example, Hyman maintains perfect balance, whereas Puljujarvi was always struggling with his when shooting.

Oilers are firing on all cylinders. Two great, close games vs Vegas and Winnipeg, and then they unleash three shit kickings against Washington, Anaheim, and Carolina. This is the team we were all expecting at the start of the season. Five more home games in this stand still, they should make up serious ground

Last game was amazing, depth scoring, defensive goal, goaltending was amazing, and all goals weren’t on the power play. Last season oilers depended heavily on the power play

Our lines were rolling, our defence was collapsing well and moving up seamlessly, all and all, We showed our Mettle! now we got to topple the Red Hot Wild!

Always rated Hyman, he reminds me a lot of a Kunitz type player. Not the most skilled guy in the team, but he leaves it all on the ice 100% every night and is good enough and works hard enough to be able to take full advantage of being on the same line as the best players on the team.

Mcdavid is 12 points behind Kucherov for the points lead. So realistically, he could catch him by the end of next week.

Fact of the matter is, all the "Oilers are a 2 man team" talk aside....Hyman---Kane----Nugent--Hopkins would be a first, and at the least 2nd line on most team's in the league. ....Hyman has been the MOST consistent Oilers forward this year. Of course, he wasn't injured, but still.

I miss Zach Hyman... I've always said that he's the MVP of the Leafs every season. The way he plays the game... Leafs seriously need that. If every player played like Hyman... one can only dream.

The Hurricanes looked like an AHL team in this game. I’m a Canes fan, and IMO, if the top six continue to play really well in one game and then take the next two games off, and if the goaltending continues to suck, the Canes won’t even make the playoffs, let alone be a serious cup contender. Aho, Svechnikov, Terravainen, and Necas need to be on their A-game every single game. If that’s too much to ask, then they should give back some of those millions and millions they’re being paid. But this video is about the Oilers, so I give them much props. I believe the start to the season was a fluke, and that they have and will continue to turn things around. They will not only make the playoffs, but be a cup contender. Like the Canes, it’s the inconsistent goaltending they most need to fix. What would be really cool would be a rematch of the excellent 2005-2006 final round. I was at all four games in Raleigh. What a great time it was.

Oilers have the current record of a weak team but we can see the way the winds are blowing. This team seems to be a cup contender.

Yeah the Oilers have made alot of giant mistakes but they probably also made 2 of the best UFA signings in the NHL. One in Hyman from the market and the other in RNH.

I would take Auston Matthews instead of McDissapointment, any day of the year. Matthews has 25 goals in 28 games this year and has scored more goals than McDissapointment has scored over the past 7 seasons. People will forever talk about McDissapointment's talent, but the probelm is that McDissapointment never lives up to his talent. He always dissapoints.

Now if they can take the "dry" out of Draisaitl... they'd have that intimidating scoring cushion they need.
