@@andre9710 The Québec Nordiques were relocated from Québec City to Colorado in the 90s. All the recent expansions (Vegas, Seattle, etc) have been made in the US while there are actual markets in the North that could welcome an NHL team. And there's the Arizona Coyotes, a terrible team in the middle of a freaking desert. They could be relocated to Québec City for instance but it's not in Bettman's plans and he won't do anything to make it happen.

Lemeuix went from not joining team management on stage to owning the team. That's progression

In Pierre’s defense, Montreal did have other huge needs and drafting goalies is always risky. Didn’t mention Halak either who looked like he’d be the franchise starter for a while. This pick was an A+ pick but it took several years to pan out
