Man as a caps fan that Oshie clip hurt. I'm so glad he won the cup in front of his dad. RIP Coach

@@mikebishop4629 I remember celebrating the win with my family and Oshie was crying and we all choked up. One of the best moments in history gotta say, especially with the ups and downs the capitals experienced. I truly hope the leafs see it too. Trust me as someone who felt the playoff pain for years with the capitals I really hope your core gets to lift the cup
Wow, seeing Patty Maroon start to cry almost got me. The Big Rig is human

He’s my absolute favorite. From an Avs fan.
The reporter interviewing Maroon deserves a raise. Just being able to see how emotional of a moment he brought up, to quickly wrap up the interview, give that reassuring comment and comforting tap on the back of the shoulder, just professionalism.

Losing my grandfather to Alzheimer’s was the toughest thing I’ve ever had to endure. To see them struggling day after day and know you can’t do anything about it is heartbreaking. Knowing Oshie’s struggle with the same thing I had to go through is why he’s one of my favorite hockey players.

Keith Tkachuk ranking his kids pretty much sums up why he was my favorite player of all time... “Im number one, because i am... and you’re both tied for last.”

Oshie hit me hard. My dad died of Alzheimer’s. He was a veteran and then a cop and then the chief of police. Toughest but sweetest and funniest guy I ever knew. It was heartbreaking to see him literally lose his mind. So I know why he was tearing up. It’s been 10 years but I still miss him every day. He was a rock. God bless you and your dad, Oshie. Peace.

@@polishpat95 People don’t die from the dementia segment of Alzheimer’s. 2/3rds of Alzheimer’s sufferers die of pneumonia associated with a severely weakened immune system. It can also cause blood clots in the brain and a few other issues such as being able to swallow food.
Are we 100%, absolutely sure that’s ray feraro’s kid? He only sounded exactly like his dad in EVERY way, even down to the mannerisms and facial expressions 😂
TJ's interview made me well up pretty good, as a single dad Maroon's had me leaking. Its awesome when you can see these guys are human and not just sports figures.
I love how the Howe boys respected "DAD" as much as they did! Awesome upbringing by Mr. Hockey and Mrs. Hockey!

I think it would've been pretty savage if Carey Price stopped the puck from going in. No one gets a free pass from Price 😂

I dunno Carey looked like he was trying real hard to save that. I think that kid outdid him
I can't stop laughing at "I can stop a kid" "I can stop children" from the goalies
Didn't expect to see the Big Rig get choked up like that. Good guy. Gets too much hate. Great video
A few years on and Oshie's interview still makes me tear up
Oshie clip is deep.
Love the Ferraro exchange, he should be in the Isles HOF, He is one of my favorites from the 90s
The announcers reaction to Burn's son dropping the gloves always makes me laugh.
The fact that those fans at the start knew that they were father and son, and were probably father and son themselves, makes that clip a lot better.
That Oshie clip would be gut-wrenching regardless, but as a dude who’s lost way too many people I love to Alzheimer’s, my heart absolutely breaks for him. I may not love the Caps, but I DO have endless respect for Oshie, and I’m really glad he got to win a cup with his dad in the stands before he passed.
I love Schneider Pushing Luongo away
The tj oshie one makes me well up big time
2:58 Price is such a good dude, lifts his stick and all for him. What a phenomenal video man, hockey is special
From fights, to injuries, and now this…. This is some much needed wholesomeness lmfao
2:00 was actually so sad
Lol, that’s great. Dad says “fuck what coach says, WE are having father-son time!”❤

I have an album on Facebook of pictures of players I have met getting drafted, and I made sure the picture of Anthony that I put in that album had Marty in it. Although born 20 years apart, Marty and my dad were born on the same day.
man as father that must really feel good when your kid scores a goal in there first NHL debut :>
Ok but my favorite thing in the entire world is when a goalie throws their head back in fake frustration on a goal they purposefully let in for a kid
The intro always gets me

So much respect for Oshie after this

Totally different feeling watching that Patrick Maroon clip now. Pretty cool.

Look at all the Blues / Ex-Blues players in this video, Oshie, Bozak, Maroon, Big Walt... if Brady or Matt wanna come join the Blues will gladly take either one!
Ray Ferraro the guy from the nhl games
TJ Oshies moment is the best in NHL History !
A perfect couple
Ryan Johansen has the best reaction 5:35
pog
Mike Fisher looks like my sophomore year geometry teacher😂😂
Dang Keslers son has about as much Ice time as bissonette 😂
I guess Landon Ferraro, forgets the years he played for red deer in the western hockey league they wore black
Tj Oshie is the best/nicest guy ever
Price: *glares at the kid* "Lets see his dad try that"
It’s a baby shark doo doo da doo da doo baby shark doo doo da doo da doo
Dang what a pass by little Pavs to little Burns
Not on this video, but in 2022 Dave Manson, assistant coach of the Oilers, proudly hugging his son Josh Manson after Josh and the Avalanche swept the Oilers in the playoffs.
If Kesler’s son doesn’t make it to the NHL, that would be an injustice to the talent he has. 😤
