As a guy who grew up in Pittsburgh, watching the Steelers take James Conner was one of the most wholesome moments I can remember in the sports world. He was a native of the area, played college ball for Pitt and was biggest story in town during his fight with cancer. The whole city was captivated by this guy and his resilience, rightfully so I might add. To see him live out his dream surrounded by his family AND an entire fanbase that loved him was truly awesome.

The emotion with the James Connor one was crazy. That’s pure emotion right there that I don’t think anyone can ever explain. That’s wild man.
DK made me cry bro. The feeling of finally making it.
Ngl, but I cried on Conner’s acceptance scene mostly because we both went thru the same cancer sickness and we still here 💪🙏🏼 God is good
1:01 when Pete Carroll laughs a bit makes me realize how special the draft is not only to the players, but the COACHES. The coaches have the chance to change someones life and give them the best news ever. I have to imagine they feed off that emotion.

@bonjouritsready
2 ай бұрын
@@0554joe there’s no such thing as a ‘rookie’ in European sports like there is for American sports. If a kid is 16 and is good enough to start for the men’s first team - he plays. There’s no ‘classes’ per say. Every team has multiple groups of players at various age levels that they develop for themselves with the ideal outcome being that those kids grow up to play for that team if they’re good enough. If someone is exception, they can accelerate that process and jump up an age group to develop faster (physically). An example right now is Jude Bellingham who was 16 captaining his home town club in the second tier of English football. A few years later he’s Real Madrid’s star, he’s still only 20 years old. I just saw your comment was 2 years old but fuck it I’ve written that all out now 😭😂

That James Connor family reaction did me in 😢
Some people don't realize how hard it is to make it to the NFL, NBA or any professional sport. There are so many different selections to choose from. It takes a lot of dedication and commitment for someone to be noticed. It's not the luck of the draw it takes pure talent.
DKs reaction always hits me where the feels lay, what a player
what a moment it must be to know you’ll change your families life forever. love to see it
That look Greedy made said "I promise to give it 110% and I'm disappointing no one! I'mma prove I earned this chance!"
Family is everything
I love seeing their change in emotions in these. Happiness from getting the call, relief knowing you're getting drafted, and the tears of happiness when its all over and you made it. Beautiful moments for sure

Love the draft each year. It is so great to watch these young men who have worked so hard for years, then they get called to the big league.
Rashan has never been too proud to show his emotions, that's why i got love for the dude. always has his heart on his sleeve for his brothers. ✊🏾🧀
To see that moment of change in life for someone who has struggled is unreal and made me cry like a baby , their life and familys life is set at the end of that phone call and it fills me with joy to see!!!
This is actually one of the best videos I’ve ever seen on youtube. This reminded me that if you keep doing what you’re doing and keep improving, you’ll eventually get rewarded. No matter what sport
Everyone of these young men have a story to tell on their journey to the NFL. I wish every one of them the best of luck in fulfilling their life long dream.
Ok, I cannot stop crying, so happy for these guys!!! Thank you for sharing their most important time in their life’s journey into the NFL, as a die-hard NFL FOOTBALL fan, I cannot fuckin’ wait, 🌎🏈NFL ROCKS THE WORLD🏈🌏
Man I love watching people succeed. Knowing all their hard work paid off. Nothing better.
Man to be the parents of these guys would be amazing feeling watching your son become a professional athlete!! Good job to all these parents!!!
To experience such joy seems unimaginable.
Never have I watched a FULL single football game but this....PUTS A SMILE ON MY FACE. ...and I RARELY do so.
So glad the titans, drafted AJ Brown! He’s done more than just get open and catch the ball. Dude is a stud! And I can’t wait to see him ball out with Julio!
You can see the pure emotion in James Conner' eyes when he gets announced
Cant imagine like getting that call must be such an overwhelming experience I mean right then and there your whole life changes truly amazing
This is why I love these moments !. These men I scratched and clawed . To get to these moments and finally get to help their families
DK’s reaction and knowing what a phenomenal player and near legend he’s become for my home team makes me so happy
the D.K one got me. Just his uncontrollable emotion after all those years he finally made it
As a man this makes me tear up. The ultimate bag, secured. Congrats gentlemen been fun watching all.of these players

Love seeing Gary's reaction. I really hope he stays healthy for us!
Don't really watch sports but was watching em just for fun... Stumbled on this video and got emotional for men I haven't even heard of haha. Such an awesome video!
Life changing moments for them... Poverty is real everywhere in the world so getting a chance out of it is amazing to watch 😊
It's amazing how all the fun you have turns into hard work and these epic moments come from it.... Next stop... A better future and not just from the person getting drafted.
Man that James Conner video made me cry like a baby. I felt that. I needed that. Wow. Unbelievable
The fact Jalen was there when AJ got the call will always be amazing to me.
Why am i crying right now because i feel the pain and hard work and dedication to their dreams!! God bless
This is cool. Watching these young men realizing their dreams come true. To all that reached their goals and are continuing to strive to thrive, may God be with you every step of the way. May you receive all your blessings.
That has got to be a special moment in your life when the legend, Jim Brown announces your draft into the NFL
Me encanta la reacción de los jugadores cuando reciben la noticia de que son selecciónados para jugar en un equipo de la NFL que orgullo imagino a su mamá desborda de alegría
I don't watch football, but to see all the family supporting them & then have their dream come true. Ugh...emotional... Good luck to all of them..
Mommas always there to be the first to be proud, happy for the moment of their son. My mom was the first I hugged when I graduated, being the first out of a university. The first for my career job and getting the offer. I love my momma.
