As a doctor and med student who doesn’t care about drawing, pressure sensitivity and just need a reliable consistently accurate pen for pdf annotation and note taking, usb c pencil is just perfect. And charging via the usb cable for 30 min once every 4 days is not a big deal breaker for me. Come on, we make it seem as if everything is wireless, iPad itself has to be charged every day with a freaking wire, same with the Watch AirPods and my iphone.. so saving 4K rupees by choosing usb c pencil over the 2nd gen is a good decision for students and medical professionals like us who don’t care about artistic capabilities of a pencil. And cheap pencils of Amazon like kingone that I previously used for annotation and returned bcoz of inconsistency wrt to palm rejection and accuracy are no good bcoz they imperfections and inaccuracies .

as a doctor.. i think you can afford $10 more for the apple pencil 2nd gen lmfao. it literally goes on sale for $80 every other week. i.g. rn this cheap apple usb c pencil is on sale for 70.. and the better 2nd gen is on sale for $80... you don't have to be a doctor to know that spending $10 more for a superior product is worth it. lol. and again.. these things go on sale every other week it seems like. every time i look, the apple pencil 2nd gen is on sale. all you're really doing buy purchasing the usb c version is padding apple's profit margins in exchange for shittier products... your supporting their laziness, complacency, etc etc. i dunno. to each their own. again... 2nd gen is always on sale for 80... ubsc version is on sale for 70. that's 10$ diff. i duno. to each their own.

@@Worthless. The thing is, you don't need a ipad pro/air for day to day usage. Ipad 9th gen or 10th gen is enough. You don't get Apple Pencil pro for these ipads.

I have the 10 the gen and it was perfect for me. I wish it had the pressure sensitivity but other then that it's great 🐬

i wish the other end of the apple pencil would function as an eraser. Just the like the real thing! I would also like to see a double sided apple pencil. This way you could assign different tools to each end.

you should try the apple pencil alternative with the ipad 10 and check if the magnets stick magnets .

So do u need to carry a usb-c cable every time u need to connect it, like after the iPad dies

I understand why they made an Apple Pencil with usb C but if you have an iPad with the charging port on the side why not get the 2nd generation Apple Pencil the reason as to why I would go for the non usb c one is because I can just connect it to my iPad and charge it that way and my iPad case has a pencil holder built in

I got a 30 on Amazon still all features and charge by attaching to the iPad

I begrudgingly feel like, I need to buy the Apple Pencil usb c. I upgraded recently to the 13” iPad Air and for some reason Apple decided that the Apple Pencil 2 just didn’t need to work on it 😞 so now I have a paperweight..

🐬. I have now an Apple Pen 2 for my iPad Air 4th gen. Should I buy an Apple Pencil now, I would buy the cheaper USB-C version. I use it primarily for note taking, so I don’t need all the ‘artistic’ features. But I do like the better writing experience, mostly better than the alternatives.

Looks more clean than the 1st gen but they need to make the price more reasonable

I intend to buy an apple pencil, but I think I will get the Apple Pencil 2.

I'm not even sure if that's what the use case is. The 1st gen pencil is presumably what schools would have already, and both the 9th and 10th gen iPads are able to use it.

if you see a stylus, they blew it. but I guess this is the "Apple Pencil" which is not a stylus at all. lol.

The only reason I didn’t buy knock off styluses was because of pressure sensitivity. This is pointless.

I would have loved a pencil that works with iPhone, especially with the plus size models. Seems like a wasted opportunity to not make the usb c version work with usb c iphones.

Nice presentation, but I really think Apple needs to include both the USC cable and charger block.

I think the Apple Pencil ✏️ 2 is better cuz it has more feature and this new apple penicil comes with too many rules which is old skool that’s just my opinion

@@the_teckeroo Huge advantage is that they already have the first gen pencil, and it's not like the 10th or 9th gen iPads can't use those. They work just fine with both. To be honest, if you have a 1st gen pencil already--keep it. This pencil is basically just for those who have or want a 10th gen iPad and don't already have an Apple Pencil.
