It's good - but i really think this should've been the bb58. Monochromatic, Jubilee, bb58. Or just A bit smaller and slimmer. 40mm / 11.7mm thick and there would be no need anymore for a Submariner. And typing this, i realized that's exactly why it's never going to happen.

Agree I love the new dimensions, metas, and Tfit clasp but the color way... meh

They also did the original bb58 dirty by not updating the movement and clasp.

@@BrittPearceWatches Yes! I have been eyeing the Zulu time for a while, but for a GMT I still like the two tone look on the bezel, AND the Tudor BB GMT is now thinner than Zulu Time!

The Black Bay 58 GMT is everything I wanted and could have asked for. And, they knocked it out of the park with that bezel, retro bakalite vibes! This may be the only thing I am down for coming out of W&W 2024, but I am here for it!

I need to try the new black bay 58. great color combos and one of the best looking in my honest opinion.

All watch manufactures abuse gold prices. All the milling is less expensive because the cutters last lots longer, but like every watch company, they take advantage of the gold advantage.

The GMT black bay 58: The watch that Tudor should have launched since the beginning. Finally!

Happy I picked up the Tudor BB GMT 41 preowned and still under warranty tax free. Thicc Boi was the right choice not liking new thinner GMT with all the gilt. It will be someone else’s Gilty Pleasure.

Messaged the AD straight away for the Black Bay 58 GMT. Hopefully have it soon. Would of liked it on a 5link though.

Not related to the watches, but I want to mention that the title cards at the beginning of your videos always make me chuckle lol. Also, you are crushing it with the coverage so far! Finally, that "almost boring, easy to choose" Black Bay 41 is my pick out of this lineup.

Great review!! I have the BB41 Burgundy and I really like the new BB GMT. I was hoping for a blue Pelagos GMT. Oh well... maybe next year.

The only things that have kept me from buying a Black Bay 58 have been the lack of quick adjust on the bracelet and that it's tough to justify a watch without date at that price since it ends up limiting it to weekend wear (and even on weekends I often end up missing the date when discussing upcoming plans with friends). The BB58 GMT is extremely tempting and I strongly suspect I'll get one this year. I am only partially being held back by having bought a 39 mm Longines Zulu Time late last year after confirming that all the existing Tudor GMTs were too big for my tastes.

The BB 54, purchased several months ago made my year. Love the look and dimensions!

What I wanted most was the BB GMT Opaline with the 5-link bracelet and T-Fit. If it was also a little thinner, even better. I don't like the look of the BB58 GMT with the gold coloring, but I do really like the Monochrome with the 5-link.

Really like the gold bracelet BB58. It would have been brilliant to see Tudor do the same for the silver BB58. That would have been a truly unique Tudor piece-who else would do a 925 silver bracelet?

Pretty good stuff. I'm waiting for future BB58 based GMT models with more colors and bracelet options. And, whatever they've been doing to update the BB 41mm to trickle down to the BB58 line as well. I guess next year.

That new METAS GMT movement is going to be epic in so many other Tudor watches. It’ll likely fit as is in the Pelagos 39 case which is what I’m holding out for. Tudor definitely outperformed Rolex at W&W this year.

Britt thanks for sharing this info. I like that Coke 58. Looks like the best thing for this year.

I JUST got Longines Spirit Zulu Time 39mm like a month ago, chose it over BB GMT because of the size. Now I also want Tudor BB 58 GMT! :)

Every day I am more convinced that choosing my Tudor BB58 two years ago, was the best decision given the way the market is.

I fell in love with the blue one, it was my gift for my 40th birthday. I saw it for €3,500 and I didn't think about it, now it's €4,000. It's been my daily watch since then 😍

The 58 GMT is the best release. Just wish there was no gilt or faux rivets. Excited for monochrome, blue, or green, with no dang gilt.

I have two BB58s and always wanted a thinner, smaller GMT like so many people. Although I wouldn't mind it being a tad thinner, I think that may be too much of an ask and encroaching too much on the GMT Master II. Looks like I'm going to be adding another Tudor to the collection soon.

Love the BB58 GMT (can’t really afford this one). And the gold BB58 is amazing (really can’t afford this one)!

Always a perfect perspective... and yes, gotta love Tudor, including your great review of the Clair de Rose. Too many reviews and watches are focused on the boys, nice to have your perspective on a great watch that delivers more than just a chonky watch. As you've proven, all of us can totally geek out on watches, the watches just need to meet our personal "sizzle factor" in size and style.

I own the 41mm Burgundy bezel and I love the new monochrome version. It's like the Burgundy has an emo brother!

While I'm not into the vintage looks of the GMT, I'm excited to see the new movement in other models. In the pelagos line? That would be something!

I would completely agree. That new Tudor GMT is an excellent addition to the lineup along with the sub Tudor as I like to see it. The all gold choice isn't something I think will be very popular for the price. There are too many other all gold choices that will likely hold a better value. Thanks for the great content! 👍

Is it just me or has the Tudor Glamour line been discontinued? I can’t find it on the website. I’d noticed that there seemed to be little to no stock in the UK a little while ago. I was hoping for them to reduce the date and day model to 36mm.

I can’t deal with vintage motif anymore. Tudor 41mm Black Bay Heritage is so awesome. This BB58 GMT ain’t cutting it.

You're not alone on that I'm extremely sick of it aswell. Alot of watches are ruined by it

Wish the BB 58 GMT came on a jubilee option. Would like to see a redesigned Royal in the future with a better movement but still with the thin profile.

I’ve been holding out and hoping they slim down the BB Pro. The BB GMT slimmed down gives me hope that we will see a slimmer BB Pro sooner than later.

Also, a full gold bracelet watch at that price feels pretty reasonable after looking at prices for other yellow gold bracelet watches. Not my cup of tea in this case, but I could see others going for it

I love the new 58 GMT, at first I was a bit disappointed that it wasn’t a Pepsi bezel but after seeing videos of it and looking at it more and more I think it’s pretty perfect. Also I think they will keep the coke bezel to Tudors only and keep the Pepsi for Rolex only, same with the jubilee bracelet I don’t think Tudor will do it on a GMT.

Yeah why is no T-fit clasp for the normal BB58? It's such a no brainer move from Tudor... I am wondering if the BB58 GMT braclet fits the normal B58?

Tudor is killing it. The fact that I never pick up my ceramic sub anymore and just wear the BB58. They won me over. Also, not sure I care anymore on Rolex. It's not like if they released the coke and could go get it without sucking toes.

I think rubber strap monochrome is the route I’m going. All new models look great

I like my faux rivets on my 54 it gives it a quirk imo. Great piece. I would of put the lollipop on the gmt hand and had a straight minute hand

The GMT 58, finally. Still wish they would have taken it easy on the gilt, and dropped those damn faux rivets! Feels like they purposefully hold back.

I think the new BB58GMT is an incredible value proposition. Nothing else comes close to it. They're doing a great job of providing quality tool watches at a really compelling price point. I wonder if this is partly what is causing Omega to move into a higher price category to differentiate their brand

The bracelet warts are not on the gold 58 but are on the 58 GMT. Forstner makes Tudor compatible bracelets for those that don’t like bracelet warts (aka faux rivets). The strap gold 58 was going as low as sub teens on the secondary market recently. I wonder how low the bracelet version will go? That $30K is out of the usual range for Tudor. Also interesting how the forstner jubilee is sold out (for now). No T-fit but no warts.

You’ve got it spot on, this one watch rescues the whole thing. simply putting those great movements in a couple of other “new” watches. (Yes they are great but there was a lack of choice anyway ) it’s been very uninspiring and we’ve even seen Tudor doing the same desperate thing as Rolex with “ what can we do? “I know let’s make something out of gold” which is against the initial principles of Tudor. A lot of people were hoping for a white blackbay pro. on the subject of Rolex releases they were dreadful.

That black and white metas BB41 looks a lot like a sub. Like way too much. I am surprised they went there.

I was hoping for a chocolate dial BB Chrono.

This was the smartest release from Rolex in years. They can’t keep up with demand for 2014 models, let alone 2024. Do as much as you can without increasing production demand and focus what you do have already for people who are waiting

You know you are a watch geek when you see the watch first, and then try to find someone you know that you could gift it to, and not the other way around!

That BB41 is now THE budget (all relative) luxury diver, taking the crown from the Seamaster 300M. Take your helium valve and do one.

After gold, Tudor needs to make Silver bracelet for Silver Bay too. I have Black Bay Silver with aftermarket steel bracelet and it's best watch I've ever had after 20+ watches.
