Wasnt Amazing but wasnt disappointing either from Rolex. They are smart they know if they come with crazy pieces every year there brand worth will go down.

I'm going to have to get the Black Bay 58 GMT on my wrist. I go back and forth on the gilt/colored numbers...just going to have to be something I see in person to determine if I want to spend the money. But as someone that prefers the aluminum bezel GMTs from Rolex, this is very attractive overall. But might have to wait a round or two for additional color schemes.

@ziminar93 I just looked at the prices of a tudor GMT and they are nearly half the price of a Rolex GMT lol. I take my statement back lol. BUT I personally would still rather still save double and buy a Rolex. (I'm currently saving for a Rolex GMT)

The BIG thing, is that you can realistically walk into your Tudor AD and buy your dream watch. Even if they do not have the watch in stock, the waiting list will be a fairly short one, and a genuine promise of selling you the watch, at list price. Rolex on the other hand, are still are playing their old games, of placing you on a never ending wait, for a watch your very unlikely to purchase. Its the very reason Tudor is becoming a popular brand.

they said this when both released the Pepsi a few years ago. Who really wants the Tudor Pepsi compared to the Rolex.

Tudor beats Rolex again apart from three considerations.........value retention........ value retention.........value retention.

If I may say something: Tudor caters towards the enthusiasts with either smaller wallets or a stronger affection for larger collections while Rolex caters to either rich people or one-watch collectors. And I find that a good development for the two sister brands. I don't agree with Tudor "beating" Rolex. Tudor IS Rolex. They just distinguish between the different groups of customers better than they did in the past.

The deepsea in gold is that you need less lead weights when diving.

I got my first call on the lefty last year as my first Rolex. Am on the list for the Yachtmaster Titanium. I will probably move on to another brand after that, not Tudor.

They are owned by the same foundation. It’s basically like toyota and lexus.

Rolex is moving to the higher end of the market and giving Tudor to the collectors of that price bracket, that’s why they gave Tudor the colour mode everyone wanted instead of the GMT. They don’t want their watches used as trading chips in the grey market and the more they pander to the grey market the harder it got for AD’s to supply genuine buyers which is why we’re in the predicament we’re in right now. If Rolex could supply AD’s more units without having such restrictive exhibition requirements you’d see much more units being sold.

Thank You ! Glad to see a pocket watch. All these beautiful mechanical marvels are at this point anachronistic and just appreciated as jewelry. Do I love these mechanical watches, yes. But we must not fool ourselves, they are like the rotary phone to the iphone. They may work, but you must have a passion for rotary phones to own one. I think these will become like pocket watches, mostly a relic of the past or that of collectors.

Was more impressed by Tudor than Rolex at w&w this year. Also quite liked Bremont's new stuff (a very contrary opinion as everyone else has piled in on the hate).

Tudor is Rolex, lol. So Rolex wins no matter what.

Tried on the Tudor Blackbay monochrome on in Melbourne on Thursday after W&W. It was simple and Tudor boutiques team were awesome! Went to Rolex store they were nice and decent but same story, they were almost apologetic about the lack of capability!!

I really do not like the new tudor GMT. The colors are weird with the gold accents on the writting. This time... ill skip. The BB 41mm, thats a really good move though :)

Rolex saved themselves with the 1908. That Tudor gmt is gorgeous. I also actually like that last Patek on denim. Something a bit different. Not a fan of the Rolex and Tudor monochrome offerings though. I mean I know Rolex are a bland brand but that’s taking boring to a new level.

Tudor beats Rolex again. But the waiting lists prove otherwise. Year after year.

It’s funny. Rolex is measured as the one to beat and to get attention on KZread so most channels use them on thumbnails to get hits. Simple facts are most people really want a Rolex. The brand is that powerful - we see these kind of videos every week. Every year. Nothing changes. Sales figures prove they utterly dominate the market. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Sad but true. I bought a tudor cause I couldn’t afford the Rolex I really wanted. Everyone I know is the same. Either can’t get it or afford it. Tudor are a good temporary daily until you can.

Its curious ,rolex have the same model since years,and tudor have the same model since less time and i am tired of tudor look,not from rolex,why? I realy love the new deepsea in full gold but i know that AD will not sell it to me,even if i had budget...

I only like the Cartier Tortue mono pusher in white gold and the Lange lumen… aside from these everything is disappointing.

I’m getting really sick of the Rolex and Tudor show. blatantly obvious to me that these people don’t give a f*ck about the little person. in the 1970s and the 80s and the 90s indeed not too long ago there were a number of Rolex models you could with a bit of effort save up or afford if you done relatively well, very clearly they are not interested in those people anymore, Rolex seem to want to turn everything into an absolute Dog’s Dinner of gold and diamonds, in order to justify prices on watches where the movement would only ever equate to a watch of 5 to $8000.
