Hello Peter….Away in Cornwall again so running late….firstly I am pleased that you are feeling better now…keep going to be 100% asap. The new Alfa should be interesting but what about the Dealer and Servicing network…..the biggest worry with them. I have yet to watch the BYD Seal video but I’m never ever going to buy one! I’m learning a lot about EV driving and PHEV charging….we could make a video!!…mostly hard work and rubbish location maps but the driving experience is great! Evening all !! JDM Subaru forester STI sg9 Had one for 7 yrs! Great sleeper 2.5 ltr flat 4 . 6 speed box 4 wheel drive, front + rear LSD’s Factory fit aero and Subaru spec. C seats. Sold it for £9k with 97k. Going for £15-17k Should have kept it! But wouldn’t have moved on to three JCW minis 2nd clubman🚗🚗. Like some Japanese Duell AG parts for that . JDM are great they keep some special stuff just for themselves 👏👏. Finally project pp 👍. S

Love the Fozzy STI’s. Likewise I sold a 2006 Impreza STI that I had from new for 7 years. Had loads of fun with it including a JGM map etc. Epic cars and now worth more than I sold it for 😬😂

Hi Ped's Hmmm JDM options, I would love a Subaru Legacy estate, twin turbo with auto box (as I'm an amputee) they are stealth looking, have all the performance you can use with more practicality than most need, perfect!

That Skyline GT-R was also for me the first that popped up. There are so much JDM cars we don't know about. James Martin (jayemm) brings some to his channel from time to time. I personally love the Kay-car scene but driving one in Europe feels pretty awkward. Oh, they have the wheel on the 'wrong' side too.

The Tesla 0-60 times are a bit weird though. They are usually with a double roll-out. So it´s not from a stand still. They are still impressive but not as impressive as they make them out to be. JDM i´d probably look for a Nissan 300ZX twin turbo. I always thought they were quite cool, and you don´t see them that often.

Evening all, I hope all are well? JDM car I would choose is for me a 1999/2000 Subaru Impreza WRX STI Ver.V or VI sport wagon in steel blue (RB5 colour). Failing that a Nissan Skyline GTR Hokosuka or a GTR R33 in midnight purple.

My favourite JDM car has to be Nissan Skyline GTR and has been since in the late 80's when perusing stock at a Anderson cars in Aberdeen before it went bust and spotted a GTR with snakeskin leather seats I guess it was imported by a US oilman and traded in but it was really smart and I have lusted after a GTR ever since. Although they are expensive I think they are a supercar on a budget. I hope you don't pick up anymore bugs on all these European flights coming up.

Had a Tesla M3P it was fast but just couldn’t get on with the tech all on one screen and mobile phone integration was shocking as were the wipers on auto, much prefere my Skoda Enyaq VRS.

Exactly. Also, ‘faster’ as a generalisation means top speed, which definitely isn’t the case at all. It might be quicker in a race to 60 but that’s so irrelevant to any proper enthusiasts that actually enjoy driving.

Tesla maybe the best e.v. but there are thousands not selling especially the big pickup,on the grape vine tesla reducing production of e.v. and starting the tesla H.... not really into jdm as always find them screamers and always needing another gear!!!! Cyclists always put me in a bad mood, especially when I’m out for a hoon…….Cyclists are a bigger pain in Mallorca too.

Is anyone able to explain how making 'average' cars so much quicker, is beneficial for safety and the environment? Physics would tell you it needs a motor / drivetrain way larger than necessary, in order to deliver that amount of power / torque, and lots of cars, with faster acceleration, will only chew up tyres and asphalt quicker.

I review new cars. Most new cars now are EV. It's the way of the world. I still put out plenty of ICE content !

ffs, can youtubers stop from saying drag appliances are enthusiast/driver's cars?(asking for a friend), and no, despite how much money they pomp in you guys(the youtubers) we, the actual driving enthusiasts don't want microwave ovens on wheels.

I’ve just traded in a fast petrol for a faster Tesla. It’s great fun to drive, I don’t need to queue up for fuel every few days and it’s a joy to drive in general. People need to stop reading nonsense online and just try one.

I truly believe ppl who like them or find them interesting aren't really interested in driving, nor they are particularly good at doing it. Because, from an enthusiast pov, I'd rather take public transport the rest of my life and ride motorcycles when I feel the need for a "drive" than spend another minute in a garbage like model 3.
