I had kids and a job and still had to work in Ohio in the 90's to get foodstamps.

The point of food stamps is to have food when your not working

Not with todays prices. even when i was working I could barely feed my kids. Now I have to have food stamps when the amount I was spending on food ($170 every two weeks) went up to ($320 every two weeks). So I was spending $340 a month with Trump in office. With Biden in office I am spending ($640 a month). Raises are not being given, so I have to have food stamps.

I don’t think it’s a problem ! But these high prices on food rent and unworkable environments is nooooot cool. So I will strike for those things ebt My supervisor tells me he spends 800 on groceries to feed his family and it doesn’t even last long ? I spend 200 dollars and it’s not nearly enough.. this will effect low income work life balance …

I worked for the city from 2007. We used to have welfare recipients working for our agency. They were called weps. Work experience program. If they didn't work, they didn't get their benefits. You know who I never saw? Jewish people. For some reason Jewish people didn't have to do the same thing as inner city people, to get snap. I wonder why?

So what about the people that's 18 250 that are working that's getting refuse SNAP benefits what about that

Need 20 hours a week. So what happens when places like BELK cuts you from 35 hours a week to 12 hours a week for 4 to 6 weeks. I am basically a Republican, but I can not agree with this when inflation s put of control and business are allowed to treat employees like this.
