You people can start being accountable for their decisions and actions and stop trying to get a handout from the government. Unless you are physically unable to work, you should be on welfare programs. It would be better to have a community establishment should get all the resources from welfare and snap program and distribute among the community, instead everyone getting individual resources. I lost count of how many people will sell food stamps for cash.

The only reason I have SNAP benefits is because I lost my job and don't have an income. The work requirement makes the program useless for the people who need it most. I got a letter in the mail about the new requirements a couple of weeks ago.

I was fine and able body until 3 years ago got injured working at UPS my second job. Since then experience horrific pain daily with every breath can’t feel anything in my right shoulder down to my rib cage. I volunteered at a COVID test center in 2021 as to being home made me depressed. I was working about 100hrs a week and loved it. The lawyers for UPS asked the judge to toss my case because because of my voluntary work at that COVID center. I don’t do drugs as I’m on heavy pain medication which makes my drowsy and have a hard time staying away. I’m certain if right now I go volunteering which in any form appear I’m doing some form of functional work UPS lawyers which advocate the judge toss my settlement case. Last thing I ever want is to collect government assistance. By the way the past 20yrs I’ve worked the government has been taking taxes from my paycheck for a disability fund in case me or you get injured. Go phuc yourself smart ass you don’t know chyt

Yet when you go to a large Social Security office you take a number and there's a hundred people in thw waiting room, with a fast turn over but I'm disabled from a broken neck on the job injury and I can't get SSI or regular retirement SS because I was removed from the work force early from my injury. The SS office is filled with people who can't speak english. The office posts noticed in 68 different languages! All those aliens never paid into SS and they're getting SS. I paid into SS and I don't get SS

@No One if you read the proposal, it states able to work. There are tens of thousands of people that can work that say they can't. Why should lazy bums benefit from another man or woman's labors. When these social programs were initiated, there was a work requirement. Democrats got rid of it, now we have this mess of bums that "can't" work.
