Great video Andrew nice to see you have rabbits around I've been to a farm this afternoon where the rabbits were plentyfull nice grass fields small neat hedges loads of warrens all baron no sine of rabbits we went lampin on the same farm the other night for foxes had 1 but never seen a rabbit really bad down here in North bucks Rhd2 I'm afraid ferreting down here is over something needs to be done all the best tink hefferon

Just discovered you guys and I know laws are different on the other side of the pond and I can not believe the number of rabbits you are getting out of a small area. What do you do with them?

I bet eating/selling! And I currently struggle like a fucking space rocket engine to find and especially capture alive some in Canada!So what I am especially amazed with is that at the video it seems like they are seeing some of them surfaced in daytime on their own!Unbelievable!!!I have never seen a single live wild rabbit foraging in daylight in all my life neither in Russia nor in Canada!

@@reynoldsoutdoors3055 yep,I guess but where do most of them hide?I mean cottontails:they are somewhat different from European oryctolagus,in behaviour as well:cottontails don't dig burrows!Also there are some other things,yet as I noticed they are able to get trust you once you show them that you can just wreck them up in the matter of less than a second,but don't do that!Even adults are becoming tame and you see that as they initially don't eat and drink when you are around but if you put an object that can hide you from bunny eyes when they eat-you will just hear them eating.But rather quickly you can just remove the object and they still both resume and also start eating and drinking in front of you!As I always knew it doesn't matter whether an animal is wild or not:you always can establish the connection and make them understanding many things!My grandfather actually not only used to own a huge male Siberian tiger Neron since his 3 months old till the end of his life(actually they passed away with difference less than 3 weeks:Neron followed his beloved owner,being unable to get through this loss)19 years later!He actually taught him to hunt for prey and after all yes,Neron was his hunting companion!

no wonder the rabbits did not want to bolt ,all them ferrets in 1 earth and every one running around ,

I bet you if it was the other way around everyone would be disliking this video and all the ferret fanboys would be having some major spaz attacks 🤣

At 17.50 you set the purse net and then walk away and drag it after you with your foot LOL

whenever i watch these guys i can never understand why they let the dogs stand in front of the nets very often with their muzzles down the hole preventing the rabbits from bolting and then when a rabbit does bolt it takes one grown man to deal with it and then another one runs across the top of the bury to put a net on, crazy, you boys need to do some ferreting down in the midlands where you can have 5 and 6 foot digs you would soon teach those lurchers some manners around a rabbit bury, a good ferreting dog should not be grabbing at netted rabbits and bouncing them out of the long nets, i have seen better trained terriers than these dogs, they do look tidy on the lamp but i wouldn't be taking them ferreting, and a tip for your next outing boys put your purse nets down before you stick the ferrets in and don't put more ferrets in than there are rabbits in the bury you wouldn't get so much exercise digging then, i am afraid you still do the same amateurish things now that we saw in some of the first videos you ever posted

We are from the midlands mate. Spent the last 15 years ferreting around nottinghamshire. I'm sure we make loads of mistakes but I'm honestly not bothered anymore. Where out to have fun and enjoy the day. Thanks for the comment and for watching. Cheers
