I just received a new pair of Costa Del Mar Blackfin PRO series glasses so I compare them to my original Blackfin frames and walkthrough the new upgrades / differences. #COSTADELMARPRO #SEEWHATSOUTTHERE

Completely agree, I have a narrow head and got the fantail pro. Can't go wrong with costa. 3rd pair now and love em all

Biggest difference for me is the holes on the temple ends for keepers. Never understood why Costas squeezed your head so much when you should have a keeper anyways. Slip on keepers just squeeze your head more. It does not look like the temples on these curve inwards as much. I haven’t had the opportunity to try them in yet. Cheers

They do not.
I’m guessing your using the glass lens. Do you notice the new pros feel a lot lighter then the original back fins or is it just me?

Yes they do. Must be the new material in the frames... Almost feel less dense. And yes, 580 G lenses for all my glasses.

Valid point. Never thought about it. The Blackfin is small for my head and I wear Diego and Reefton so that could be the reason why I never threw them on. I will say that they have great coverage and block a lot of light from coming in, I just find the temple/head squeeze a bit much for my melon.

Blackfins don't fit my big head very well. I wear Reeftons 90% of the time and they just redid them as well with a Pro Version. Same upgrades as the Blackfin Pros.

@@JPDeRoseOutdoors yep I sent them back for the Reefton pros , they were too little and hurt my nose and behind my ears , hopefully the Reefton pros are better , my heads big too I guess 😆😆😆
