The fantail pro and black fin pro are seriously so awesome!!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

I just bought a pair. The image clarity is very good, green mirror makes the colors pop. Fit is kind of small but these overall are much better than the oakley prizms i have.

The fantail pro feel a little loose on my head and I normally wear a large or xl frame. Is there a way to adjust them? When I bend over to pick something up they slide down

Is the fantail pro a wider frame than the fantail? The sizing on the inside says it’s 60-15-120. Made in Italy? I’m concerned that these are fake.

I was going to gripe about the rubber to someone, after my Rafael’s temple end up and disappeared. Then I did the math: had them for over a dozen years, have been my ‘go to’ everyday pair, and honestly, would replace them with exactly the same pair, if I could. But they’re NLA, so Fantail Pro it is!

Was bummed that the origina Fanttail didnt fit my low bridge very well, BUT I tried the Pro's, and my oh my, that adjustable bridge and other new details really hit the spot! Big fan, going to grab all the mirror lense options now!

Do these come in bifocal?

Well I now have a little experience with the Fantail Pro. It would appear that this is the new Lux costa. The frames have the same hard plastic feel and brittleness very similar to the new Lux Oakley frames. The metal pieces around the keeper hole will fall off. Just like pieces will fall off the new Oakley Clifdens. They also creak. Not sure if it’s the lens loose in the frame or where the temples attach at the hinge. But the real issue for me is that they are way bigger than the original Fantail. While not a big deal if you’re using them for fishing but they look very oversized and goggle like for casual wear. The original Fantail was perfect for pulling off both serious fishing and casual wear as well. Functionality seems good but I question durability. Time will tell. At least Lux hasn’t messed with the lenses yet. The 580G seems as good as ever. As initially excited as I was about the new pros I think I’ll stick with the original Fantails. Cheers

Your comment is 100% on point. I had the Blackfin Pro and the metal keepers fell off within a year, they also creak…. I actually went back and bought the original fantails just like you did. I’m sadly disappointed in the new pro series. I would expect a lot better quality for nearly $300 on a pair of Sunglasses.

Thanks for the video. I love these sunglasses but I am a bit confused. At 3:36 in the video, you mention the frame width to be 139mm. Costa has these at a frame width of 133mm. They are listed as Regular width and Large frame size by Costa. Can you confirm which is correct?

I would go by what costa has on the website, I have an xl face and these fit good for me I love them

@@jb2257 you see that’s part of the confusion. First of all the Fantail and Fantail Pro are supposed to be medium fit and should not fit you. Second, they list both the Fantail Pro and Blackfin Pro at 133mm width but the Blackfin is supposed to be large wide fit. That doesn’t make sense to me. Cheers

costa or luxottica suck, broke after temple arm after barely 3 mo use, they won't cover their warranty don't buy the bs, or the promo bs,, expensive and cheap quality
