Do they have glass lenses the Rincondo

Did Costa make a change to the hinge where the metal embedded in the temple is larger? I also noticed they place the model name next to the printed Costa where the others have the model RIN on the opposite temple.

Hey Skyler! Costa is always making adjustments to their technology and design features. While i can't speak with certainty to the changes you mentioned, i will say that they've been fairly consistant with the information placement on the inside temples, although it's possible that this has changed in recent years as well.

Are the rinconcitos shown in the video in matte tortoise frame color? Or is that retro tortoise or what? I’m going to order some but I’m trying to see how subtle the tortoises are.

Why can't you get the rincon prescription lenses in 580G?

Hey Kyle! A crystal glass lens blank is too small in diameter to fit the Rincon model as it has a very large lens shape. The glass material would also add a considerable amount of weight to the overall sunglass which in turn puts more pressure on the nose creating an unbalanced feel on one's face.

Is the blue mirror not very bright?

Hi! The Costa blue mirror's VLT is 10%, which is pretty dark.

Yes, though the grey w/blue mirror pairs better with open ocean fishing where the bronze/copper base w/green mirror plays better to lakes, streams, and deltas.

Its funny you list these as the first rincon's. The need to bring back the rincon they cancelled 11 years ago....those were great glasses...you cant even find replacement lenses for them now

Rincondo sounds like the largest size Rincon sounds medium Rinconcito sounds like the smallest ( Chiquitito)

While the Rincondo does 'sound' like the largest size, its actually more of a medium fitting frame. In order... Rincon (137mm SFW) Rincondo (133mm SFW) Rinconcito (131mm SFW)
