I like how they immediately require a prime number after you unlock multiplication to drill in addition is still important.

So, shapez but arithmetic. And the node input/output positions seem to be flexible, which is better (less restraining) than shapez in this regard.

@@ARockRaider Which is why I feel weird, that shapez is free and this is 6,99€. This game clearly copied a lot from shapez, which is fine, game devs copy all the time, but it's still weird. It's even more funny, because they released another game in 2022, which is also the same game, but hexagons instead of squares and sell that for 4,99€ as well.

like the way he did the 10 as 2 + 2 + 2 + 2 + 2, when you might as easily do 2 + 2 + 4 2, or the 20 as 3 + 3 + 6 + 4 + 4 instead of 4 + 4 + 8 + 4, and so on

You would be amazing at mobile game ads with how unsatisfying your design for 16 was by 18:37, all the strain on one 3 generator, while the conveyors for adding 12s and 4s doesn’t even connect to one bridger, yes this was only written because it was absolutely frustrating and I would’ve played the game because of it if I could, 10/10 great advertisement for the game. I’m sure you’ll get past level pink!

My thoughts as well, lol. Like I yelled "Stop being so dumb please!"
you need to read more of the details, the extractor upgrade you researched hinted at the fact it can output 2 full belts when it was upgraded, which when combined with the belt speed upgrade hints at the extractors can end up being super powerful.
@milanstevic8424
Ай бұрын
And you basically want to maximize output to at least one full belt (which is at max belt speed / sec), not only you're gathering numbers faster, but also many locations become reusable, so when smaller numbers become obsolete, you can redirect them for more complex production. It's a neat game, I just wish there was more hindrance/power/cost/friction of some sort.

The other day I watched a video about "integer complexity" in which a guy in the video talk about how many 1s would it need to create a number with addition, multiplication, then later on subtraction and division, the concept would be really useful for this game as you could have a general sense in how to figure out an optimal set up for making a certain number with the least amount of required input.

There is nothing minimalist about Potatograd's OP-144 factory. It's such a large factory that the test flights are done inside its massive walls and high ceiling.
Same developer made Beltex a few years ago. Same game but instead of being on a square grid, you are on hexagons.
I wonder if my child could use this to find the fun in math...will have to test those waters when she gets to mult and div. I'm a factory game enthusiast so this looks great for developing basic math skills and problem solving.
@orbitalpotato
Ай бұрын
I hope so!
16 is a power of 2, meaning you can get a *much* simpler design (=easy copy+paste) with just doubling up 2s (like in a pyramid-shape). Using 3s isn't any faster, you just made your design way more complicated than it needs to be.
@fredtwo8347
Ай бұрын
But that does require 2 more belts of extraction input (8 vs 6)
@DarkSpirit64
14 күн бұрын
the limit was adder speed anyway
man.. i sure hope there is no one who will make a computer in that game..
I recommend reading up on the tooltips that show up whenever you unlock something new. If you simply drag one belt across another, the game automatically places a bridge for you. And with the extractor upgrades you can pull multiple belts from each source.
This is by the developer of Beltex, the same concept, just switched from hex to square grid.
This is basically Numberz

@joshuaguenin9507

You should have taken the main converter-belt and used it as a random input. Meaning all numbers should in theory be obtainable through putting in a number close to that range plus the converter belt. This would mean that until you get multipliers which will do the higher numbers you don't do anything.
i LOVE this game! who needs graphics, when you would have 100% strategy
If you connect the output of the adder/multiplier to its input would it get infinitely large?
Mindustry 2: electric boogaloo
This feels like it would be better if you could only extract primes.
You need more buffer coming out of your addition modules. If your belt is full, the addition module will pause.
I've noticed, one resource can only fill 2 belts without skipping the line.
I clicked on this video cause the thumbnail and title was interesting. after about 2 minutes I bought the game myself. my adhd CRAVES numbers right now. so excited to get home and play this after work

Hm, I like factory games, and I can also enjoy abstract and niche games, but somehow this misses the mark for me. Most factory games have you solve multiple puzzles, or on multiple "layers" (building designs, overall architecture, throughput on a micro level, and balancing progress and improving your infrastructure), but this one seems kind of one dimensional to me. It makes it accessible in a weird way, but for me it's kind of missing the "game" mark, and feels more like an educational experience.
@milanstevic8424
Ай бұрын
I get what you mean, but you'd be surprised, it scales pretty cleverly. Algebra sneaks up from behind! The game gets very interesting as it progresses, in my experience, and the gameplay shown in this video resembles something similar to Factorio spaghetti, i.e. it's not really representative of true play. For example as soon as you master the belt throughput optimization, you progress onto modular design and reusable circuitry. In the mid-game the designs get very streamlined, but you juggle between the factories in a vast play area. Suddenly you want to redirect that 36 factory because you can clone a place that can do x12 and a place that will subtract 5 for your current goal of 427. Yes it's abstract, but in a sense you build your own commodities and factory chains with this game and every solution is different.
Should have called it Mathomatic
nah am not gonna fall into that trap again
This game is just shapez... but with numbers

almost two years ago, the same developers already made such a "shapezio with numbers" game *_Beltex,_* but added the twist of a hexagonal playing field, and that one is even a little cheaper than this one. is this game worth it to buy yet another variant with a normal grid and probably less features than shapezio?
that's really cool, I hope there are android games like that
Looks like Shapes, but with numbers instead of shapes
I can see a main bus here.
The unique part is that you work with numbers . the rest is just shapez
is the music from the game? I love retro music
12:26 You could have got 2(2 + 2) and then added then 1(4+4) and then 1(8+2) that would be faster cause you got 3 adding steps but in your combo you got 4 18:11 You didnt connect the 4th add to 12 input 18:47 1 3extractor is connected to 2 add 2 3extractors are connected to 6 add 20:17 Realisation 22:12 Clearly your lack of organasing
why do you use each separate extractor for 1 with sumaa if it doesn't absorb quite a few units in a long time
its only 7 bucks, instant buy for me, thanks for showing. I used the link in the description, is that an affiliate link?
