Thank you for this detailed video ,and research. I came across it because I had questions about the lV bags manufactured in U.S A. Your video answered my questions.

Customers are paying a premium, in part, for the cachet. A French brand made in TX doesn't have it. Glad they are employing US citizens, but not sure I am willing to spend $2000 plus on a TX bag. May switch my loyalty to an Italian brand.

It is the perfect bag isn't it? I have the Graceful MM and it's the best bag LV has ever made. I wasn't going to get it because I felt shaded buying what is supposed to be a Luxury French bag...but made in the USA. I did learn that Canvas bags will now be made in the US. so I had to get it. I just love love love that bag.

As long as the quality is the best, I’m not that bothered where my bags are made. As someone living in England most of our items are made in France. Great video, thank you

I have three LV “babies” 😍, one made in France and I was initially shocked to know the other two were made in USA. However, after throughly comparing them I can affirm (at least in my case) that the quality is very much the same. I’ve read that the artisans in the USA are as good as the European ones because they are trained under LV’s strict supervision. I am not losing my sleep over it, the craftmanship of LV bags made in USA is top notch 👍👍👍

I notice you like the Damier print . I have a pochette in it. Love it 😍

With the slg I can definitely tell the difference in quality made in France vs made in USA...I honestly prefer made in France pieces 🥰 Great Video 🥳

Hi Anne, I am a bit confused. In your description box you mentioned some made in USA date code prefixes, which one of seem to be FL. But then your made in France Favorite MM date code feautures also the letter FL... can you please clarify. Was it a typo or what does this mean in your opinion? Thanks for sharing 🌸💋

I just bought a Neverfull that was made in Texas I had no idea they opened a factory there until I saw TX and looked it up!

Great video thanks for sharing all this information love your eight bags.Sure we all would like for our bags to come from France but now days that is not always the case.I don’t see the quality difference.

Thanks for watching! I agree - I haven't seen a quality difference so far in my USA made bags vs my bags made in France, Italy, and Spain. It does always put a smily on my face when I see "made in france." haha

I'm hearing the USAmade bags aren't as nice as quality control seems to be lacking. I do not want a French bag made in the US...just my thoughts.

@@Oceangirl1234 Yes, that is so true. I have been buying LV for a long time and now anything that used to be free will cost now. They have shops all over the place and the grip on quality control is not as it was before so to say it was their fault, or the fault of the consumer is non-negociable. The SA did tell me that there are still highly crafted people making bags, but they just can't cover every bag as they used to.

if they sell bag mad in usa they should do cheaper prices cause the quality is very missed up.

My speedy 25B is made in the USA. I was told by my SA that all the speedy bags were made in the USA for the people in the USA. If you wanted one from France you would have to go to France for it. All according to the SA.

Your CA told you wrong. It just depends on what’s there.I just got a Speedy B 35 from the Boutique and it’s from France. My friend was with me and purchased one at the same time and hers was made in the US. Also funny we both purchased the Zippy wallets that day and her wallet was Made in France an Mine was Made in the USA. The Client Advisors and us laughed so hard. But both of our bags are the same and holding up well. I seriously don’t care. I think it’s funny that people trip on that. You know what I lied. I think I like the Us bags better. When they counterfeit that bag they always stamp made in France ...tickles me pink lol

I still have all my big bags from LV but my back went out on me about a year ago and now they all just basically sit on the shelves in my closet because it’s hard for me to carry them now. 🥲. Hello, I just came across your channel have a quick questions I purchased LV purse through their website. I received it today and notice it doesn’t say where is made from. It only says Louis Vuitton Paris. Is that normal?

I don't care where the bag is made. I can't tell the difference between my LV pieces. My most favorite bag is speedy b 25 was made in the US and it is perfect.

That’s interesting considering all the materials are imported from France.

I don't have much experience about many things but I do own some Louis Vuitton products. for example my clemence wallet was made in the USA, I have it for a year and I have no complaints about it. I have a key pouch and in that case if they sent before me some made in the USA and if they were very ugly with less space, I don't know I did not like them with the one was made in France I it is beautiful. I have a Pochette accessories MIF this very nice, but I just bought a Speedy B 25 DE made in France this beautiful has no defect there is a perfect zipper in conclusion everything is great, I also have a 4 key holder made in France and I love this very nice one. so I think it all depends not all MIF are perfects I had to returned MIF items that had some issues. Also I see that made in France preloved items keep a better high price in preloved sites.

Some of the Louis Vuitton vintage speedy bags that were made in the USA are stamped "Malletier". I hope they use the Malletier stamp again

It is interesting Louis Vuitton has 3 factories in the USA making their USA customer bags and they are a French-based company. The known USA bag companies like Coach, Brahmin, and Dooney, have their bags made in CHINA.

@@AnneDoctor Yes, Made In USA increases the value and demand as well. The only people that have not figured that out is the USA companies. LV is smart. They never go on sale, their quality is great, the value is maintained, and they employ American people making their quality bags in the USA. American companies seem to have lost their own independence in manufacturing in the USA.

Christopher Nejman well LV is planning on opening a factory and having the bags made in China as well. Companies choose to have their items made in China because the labor and materials are cheaper and they make more money in profit that way. I personally think that if LV did that it wouldn’t be the same. Especially at the moment the qualities of the bags are going down, but the prices continue to increase. Same with Chanel the quality isn’t the same and they increase the prices all the time. Which if companies continue to do this people will stop buying from them.

Great video! I've been collecting LV luggage, accessories, and handbags (for the wife) for decades. Whenever I go into the local boutique (and it's a big, big store), I always ask for the item from France. I last bought my wife the Alma full size bag and the sales associate had to bring out 3 before we found the 1 made in France. I don't like my Gucci from anywhere other than Italy, I don't like my Coca Cola to be made in the UK, and and I won't buy any LV not made in France.

It's the iena not Lena. There is no difference between pieces made in the USA or France. I've owned several from all over and had issues with both and also had some made perfectly from both. I also think most want MIF because it's a French company.

NOT TRUE!!!! There is a big difference several videos on youtube showing the difference! I myself just compared 2 neo noe with a sales associate in NY and blew his mind. They want to give you less quality while raising the prices every year only a fool would accept this and not care. I own 2 mini pochette, neo noe in black, juliette wallet in reverse , mini palm springs back pack and many more very hard pieces to find all made in France bought in NYC! people wait for an item made is frane spain or italy! it's not worth it to purchase anything made in the USA!

My experience with MIUS LV goods are not good. First one was neonoe noir with the strap issue(Returned nextday). Second one was victorine wallet with uneven galzing(Kept as it is still acceptable). Third one was Speedy B 25 DE with fast tarnishing hardware and cracked strap in less then 2 months of use(did not notice after 2 months of use, so no return, I hope one day I can take it to the store to get it fixed), Monogram key pouch with crooked stitches. (Kept as still acceptable) All items MIF are near perfect(Alma BB monogram-perfect, Noe BB Azur and Monogram-NO issue found, TP26, other SLGS, Doc BB). I had BTP pink Victorine wallet Made in Italy, the glazing was so bad(returned).

its the LV quality that is being paid for, doesn't matter what country it was made in. i mean i get that it may feel more authentic coming from france, however the standards of the company are worldwide. my graceful pm and my clemence wallet are both made here in the US

My pochette Métis was made in USA and my Palm Springs mini BP is from Spain. My wallet is from France. I figure it will be easier for us to get hard to get items if they are made here. 😄. Unfortunately I don’t think they will pass the savings into the consumer regarding import taxes is it is made here. It is nice they are creating jobs.

There is a huge difference with one made in us and France or Spain, I recently got 2 cle pouch one made in u.s and other in france . The stiching on made in u.s cle was terrible.

The quality it should be same if it’s made here in the USA . All the materials come from France and also the workers making the bag are trained in France .

Do you know if the public can buy from this factory?

Soo I recently order online a neverfull an with tracking information it’s coming from TX. Does that mean most likely mean would be made in the US? I hope not 🙏🏽

I talked to an online advisor if I could get a bag that made in France since the brand is from France. They answered me what was the different? And then you have a good day 🤣 I don’t have a second to say anything.

I wish you put pictures as some of us don’t know the bag by the name only.

I think it makes you feel extra fancy if it’s made in France. Lol And we all want to feel extra fancy. That’s why we buy these outrageous priced canvas bags. 😅

Imagine having to spend an exorbitant amount of money for a bag to hold your stuff, and then still having to check date codes and stamps to figure out where the bag was made. Hardly seems worth it to me, but to each their own.

Sorry, but I just found out my Neonoe was made in USA therefore I'll be returning it. The purpose of owning an Italian bag is receiving one from it's history original. Plus, I heard some reviewers complaining that the bags made in USA are of lesser quality.

I definate prefer made in France or Itality versus Spain or USA. The QUALITY & Craftsmanship is not the same i.e stitching, color etc!

I just picked up my first LV bag in store yesterday. No tag no stamp. Don’t like it. Why before the same bags they could marked down but not now? Let me think about that they are making cheap bags. Ignore some details.

I have been purchasing Louis Vuitton bags for two decades and I have watched the quality and service completely plummet,,, They need to check their Q and A..I have to be completely honest, I don't want my expensive Louis Vuitton coming from this country let alone Texas? These bags are supposed to be from another country where they produce top notch bags, not poor quality. On the flip side it employes, Americans with jobs. Just my opinion.

There is a big difference. Only get the made in France. Made in USA quality is trash. LV is becoming mediocre and it’s a shame they are dropping their quality and still charging customers the high price for low quality made in USA.

I prefer my LV collection from France or Spain. I saw a NF on Fashionphile and it's made in TX, it's sad to say, workmanship is so poor quality. No wonder why the seller is already selling her bag when she just bought it this year...
