It finally happened - two of the Beatles' children got together to write a song! On Friday, April 12, James McCartney announced his new song, co-written with Sean Ono Lennon, had been released. It's called Primrose Hill.

I wish them well. I heard the song tonight and think it is pretty good. Lots to like about it. Very talented. Very enjoyable. I grew up on the Beatles as soon as I heard them on Ed Sullivan in 1964 and loved all their music in the 1960's. They are the most important group in pop and rock history. They broke all records in music history. A great many of their records still stand. The most #1 songs of any group of all time. Still hugely popular since 1964.
Kudos to James McCartney and Sean Lennon. 😊❤
I think their kids turned out pretty well despite all the craziness. ❤

They're damned if they do, damned if they don't. But the song is really lovely. The first real Lennon-McCartney song in fifty years and it certainly has a 1967 vibe. Haters gotta hate, but screw 'em.
