Cyn was there at the beginning since art college. She had said had the Beatles not made it, she would have supported them as a couple by becoming an art teacher. They always intended on getting married, just Julian was unexpected and hurried their nuptials sooner than planned. Cyn is a remarkable woman whom Lennon didn't really deserve. She was talented in her own right. Yoko wasn't the only "artist girl".

Maureen was with Ringo before he was famous, too, so she was not after his cash. John and Cyn looked lovely together in the early photos. I suppose he really did lover her, but he did CHOOSE Yoko in the end. Folks blame Yoko for everything, but John did not have to go with her. He was an adult and could have sent her packing, but instead he went with Yoko. It was his choice.

Didn't Paul McCartney live in the attic of the Asher family home. He composed a few songs there.

Yes, and Jane's brother Peter Asher was there too at that time. Peter was one half of the singing duo Peter & Gordon, and also worked for Apple Records for many years. He has recalled Paul's time at their home in many interviews.

It's strange since she already had a biological dad, so McCartney could not adopt Heather without his consent. There was never any definite evidence that Paul actually adopted Heather; it has been pure speculation. Her biological father committed suicide in February 2000, only two years after her mother, Linda, died of cancer. This was a very stressful time for Heather. These days, Heather doesn't care for the showbiz world and keeps a low profile, continuing to work on her pottery, for which she is famous in England

It was nice to see the picture of Ringo and Barbara with Paul and George and their wives.

I always found it interesting all the Beatles were expecting children when they married. Cynthia was pregnant with Julian when she married John. Linda was pregnant with Mary when she married Paul. Maureen was pregnant with Zak when she married Ringo. While Patti Boyd was unable to have children, 2nd wife Olivia had given birth to Dhanni just b4 she married George. Interestingly Linda was pregnant with Heather when she married Melville See (her first husband). Dot Rhone was pregnant and engaged to Paul, after she miscarried they broke up.

It wasn't at all interesting. When you think of the amount of bed hopping these pop stars get up to, it is not surprising at all! Rod Stewart, Jagger, Tom Jones , Roger Daltry, etc, were all at it. Loads of kids born out of wedlock amongst this crowd .............

You have to put the Paul & Jane ending into context. Jane was a serious actress & had been on tour for five months when she found him with someone else & he was lonely. Linda was perfect for him.

Paul got off lightly there. It would have been another John and Cynthia. He would have married her just as he was making it big and she would have been in the way! All the girls screaming with his pic on their bedroom walls, and the total pin up boy, and he had the wife and kid at home in Liverpool, cramping his style! It was a relief he never had to marry her and was able to leave it behind and be every teen girl's dream.

I've never known much about Ringo's first wife Maureen, or "MO" as they all called her. She is the mother of his 3 kids, and sounds cool. It seems like Linda, Yoko, Patti and the other Beatles' wives & loves have all gotten much more attention over the years. Why is it we never really here much about Maureen?!? ❤

Actually when Paul noticed Linda coming towards his table at the club he stood up introduced himself and gave her some line. He invited her to go on to the next club with him and his friends and they were together the rest of the night. So hardly speechless. When John first met Yoko he thought she was deranged and she was stalking him hardly conversational territory

@@annstewart9693 cutting off Louise Harrison's estate was nasty, due to the small amount involved. However, George had a hand in this, as he didn't include his sister in his will. Anything that involves money needs to be thoroughly documented, otherwise there'll always be a chance of dispute. George certainly didn't foresee such a risk, nor could he have imagined that Olivia wouldn't feel obligated to continue sending money to her sister after he was gone. That's what happened, anyway. Accounting was never his strong point.

Linda ask to be send to take pictures of the Beatles. She worked for the Rolling Stones magazine and had her eyes on Paul. Oh well, I never liked her anyway. the only Beatles girls who were OK for them in my opinion are Pattie, Maureen, and Olivia. Love Olivia for her dignity as we all knw that Something was written for Pattie, every time there is a Beatles Tribute they put this song!
