    First of all, Elvis never wrote a song in his life, he was a singer. Even his first hit song, Heartbreak Hotel was written by Carl Perkins who never gave Presley the right to record it but did get royalties of Five hundred bucks for it.

Elvis 🔝👑⚡❤️ come Lui nessuno nessuno

    Elvis was never jealous of other artists, he was a humble man. John lennon said that before Elvis there was nothing, Elvis paved the way for black people and other artists, many artists say this too.

  • @matrix5000100
    @matrix5000100Күн бұрын

    @zs4855: You are 100% right. Elvis himself once said: "There is enough room for all artists in this world"! By the way, the Beatles were never a competitor to Elvis Presley. When the Beatles were making music, Elvis Presley was making films. He wasn't even present on the music market because he made very successful films.

    I dont know but it is a myth that he didn't like the Beatles. He did some of their songs and invited them to his house. He told Nixon he didn't like them because he knew Nixon didn't like them and he used that to get the badges that he wanted for him and the MM.

    Thanks for your comment! I think Elvis respected The Beatles, and he liked them to some degree. That is why I wrote the book, ELVIS AND THE BEATLES - to show all the interactions that went on between him and The Beatles over the years - it's a lot more than most people know about!

  • @frankanda9683
    @frankanda96836 күн бұрын

    Elvis said that the Beatles were anti-American. He discredited them with the CIA and President Nixen and tried to expel the Beatles from America. Why? Because the King of Rock and Roll was losing popularity because of the Beatles. His actions astonished the Beatles, as Elvis was their idol. Suddenly they realized that although he appeared to be the radiant, confident King on the outside, he was completely insecure, jealous and envious on the inside. After that, Elvis was no longer their role model.

    From what I’ve read and seen it seems like Elvis really resented the Beatles, especially as they became increasingly successful throughout the sixties, a time when Elvis was stuck making flic after flic. It’s a shame they never collaborated more

  • @DaytrippinBeatles
    @DaytrippinBeatlesАй бұрын

    Thanks for your comment! Yes, I wish they had collaborated, but I don't think Elvis resented them like most people think. I think Elvis was just a competitive person by nature, which in part helped him become so successful in the 1950s. I give lots of examples in my book about how Elvis praised The Beatles in public and private throughout the years. 🙂

    I wish them well. I heard the song tonight and think it is pretty good. Lots to like about it. Very talented. Very enjoyable. I grew up on the Beatles as soon as I heard them on Ed Sullivan in 1964 and loved all their music in the 1960's. They are the most important group in pop and rock history. They broke all records in music history. A great many of their records still stand. The most #1 songs of any group of all time. Still hugely popular since 1964.

    lol it would have fit in the later beatles catalogue, you all just love to hate on paul. Lennon was getting quite close to paul again the year he was killed, george was fine with working on this song, its literally on film him recording it with paul in the 90s, he was just unhappy with the sound quality so he said the quality was rubbish and they moved on, until they had the technology to clean up the audio. dunno why some fans insist on creating their own narrative to hate on paul
