    Judging by the shape of the bit holder looks like it has a wire clip inside to grip the bit, which are quite strong on the screwdrivers that I have with that mechanism. The problem with these screwdrivers with unique bits is obtaining replacement bits if you loose or break them, especially a problem with Klein and their ball bearing retained bits, not seen those anywhere in the UK.

  • @MORGANSMaintenance

    @MORGANSMaintenance

    8 ай бұрын

    Yeah that’s what it has. So pretty much anything with a 1/4” shaft you can throw in this screwdriver. I thought I filmed showing it, but it must have been in the first take I ended up losing. You are right on the specific bits, they are one shot bits. Bits usually last a long time as a screwdriver, but now if you can take them and put them in your impact they are likely to break more often. It won’t surprise me if these bits in this screwdriver won’t be sold by Klein in a package by themselves for people to buy just to use in impacts.

    Honestly, I think it depends on the type of work you do. If you’re constantly doing electrical maintenance inside panels, it’s a good tool to have. With my current shop, we’re running a lot of 4” aluminum rigid so this wouldn’t have much of a use for me at all. • @MORGANSMaintenance

    @MORGANSMaintenance

    5 ай бұрын

    Where the bit snaps in is on the hex part of the 1/4” shaft… so you can. The Klein bits are 2-3/4” long so they have to be shorter than that. The Klein bits also only snap in at one spot, so you might need to use bits close to as long as the Kleins… so it’s enough to snap in, but not to short that they can slide out of that spot and be loose in the handle. (That’s hard to explain)

Or the 13-1 is pretty good and you can stick other things in the end as needed. If you want but storage I would probably go 20-1.. The bits on the 13-1 are nice, but they may be harder to replace. This is why I hate these Klein all in ones. Great concept and ideas but good lord at they cheap.

    Yeah they aren’t bad for the price, but I’d rather spend $10-15 more dollars and it be a little more robust in some areas.

    @@MORGANSMaintenance We use the full line of Kleins finishing screwdrivers and give the all in one's to interns. But one or two drops and the internal bit holder usually ends up breaking. Most of the time its still usable but forget about the rotating holder.

    @GeneralRazec it can definitely use some improvement. Most “bit holders” on any screwdriver isn’t great. I prefer dedicated screwdrivers in a pouch than switching bits all the time. They are just nice as a bag space saver. The 11-1 type is a better screwdriver in my opinion than a bit holding one. Appreciate your thoughts 👍👍

    👍👍… I’m a professional contractor.. but unfortunately I am an amateur videographer. I also do all my videos on a phone. KZread is just something I do for fun and to share my tools. I appreciate the feedback and you watching.

    I really wish Klein collabbed with mega pro and made those screwdrivers in Canada/USA instead of Mexico. It would literally be one of the best multibit screwdrivers ever made and only cost like 10 dollars more...

    I would like to see them make the bit holders on these a little better. They are ok… but that is what ends up failing after some time. I’d gladly pay $10 more for better product with any brand.

    These Hand Tool companies that make these intricate *All-in-Ones Screwdrivers* 🪛 NEED to better Design/Engineer the Bit-Insert Cap so it securely locks 🔓 and does NOT 😤 open!

    Yeah they make them a little cheap I guess to keep their prices down, but I’d pay a little more for better quality 👍

    I use the wiha hex drivers a lot in my line of work. I didn't know Klein made them too. Don't forget to try the Tough Built insulated screw drivers.

    I think the Klein are new. I haven’t seen them in the store yet… or this screwdriver. I will check those ToughBuilt ones out 👍
