The Portofino M feels like it should get way more attention. It is a beautiful design. Not a bad angle. The California didn't quite have it all but the refined Portofino and the M have cleaned up all the lines properly, all the design details and interior. One of the most gorgeous GT cars ever built. I like it more than the Roma by far. I'd also go for this over the 296GTB based on looks alone. For power well the 800+ HP on the 296 is hard to resist. A tough call. Long live the Portofino M. Great job Maranello. Great review Rory. One big problem. $5000 for Apple Car Play. C'mon Ferarri and Apple this has got to stop. Beyond egregious.

I honestly just can’t with this cinematography…. wth! This is without a doubt the best car review cinematography out there currently. Neil Carey + Harris is amazing but they barely make videos anymore, thanks to top gear. This is just in the lead by a country mile. Then Rory is just the icing on top. Well done to the team for the millionth time.

By far the best car channel on KZread.

That was a sensational film by Peck. The B road was blocked perfectly, and the ending at the coast inlet, with the subsequent drone flyby, was nothing short of sublime.

Completely agree Eamonn. But in a way they cater to differing sides of the coin. Mat Watson revels in his brashness and we, the consumer, lap it up for what it is. Data driven harshness, thrash the car then give it back. A moment in time and nothing about ownership or enjoyment. Rory builds on his great work in Top Gear that first brought him to most of our consciousness. Accomplished, erudite and, like Mat, knows who his audience is and gives them exactly what they want. On this channel I would love to meet and listen to George Peck regale us with how he plans and achieves such wonderful cinematography. But with Car Wow, I just want to meet the person behind the voice of “three, two, one”. That says it all really.

Rory and the bois. I've got to say, you guys are now the bar of what automotive cinematography should be. Every film is nothing short of a masterclass. No way I'd be able to afford these vehicles. But thanks to the storytelling and cinematography. Every video is like spending a day with a good friend, going for an adventure of a drive. Thanks guys, truly. You all do an epic job.

I would take this over the new Ferrari Roma. The interior having physical buttons instead of cheeping out with screens and having a convertible are worth a lot to me. Unfortunately this is currently out of my price range maybe someday.

I agree I’d take it over the Roma also. I know the Roma is going for pure elegant beauty but to me the sculpted body and stance of the Portofino look better and plus, like you said it’s a convertible. The interior will look older faster (still looks really good tho) but it is more functional and practical with the buttons and stuff like you said.
