Autumn is probably my favorite season and the amazing colors of fall foliage that appear in New England every October never fail to impress me. It starts gradually and then it’s like natural fireworks in every direction. Yellows, reds and oranges mixed with the usual greenery get illuminated by the sunlight and just looks incredible. People travel to the northeast from all over to see the beautiful and picturesque sights for the several weeks they’re in effect. I drove up into Connecticut and started out in Greenwich, where I also caught a few awesome houses and then continued up the Merritt Parkway to Massachusetts. That’s such a great route to travel this time of year for the nonstop colorful landscape all around you as you’re rolling along. Massachusetts, as you’d expect, is the ideal place to see the foliage and I went to as many places as possible before the weather changed up and rained a few days straight. This knocked lots of leaves down and what was left was more of an orange brown color. However, I did get lots of great footage to make this video for everyone to check out and enjoy. I hope those of you that never get to see this sort of thing can get a good idea of what it’s like in this part of the world during the months of October and November.
