Hands down, the best place to see Christmas lights and decorations in Brooklyn is the Dyker Heights neighborhood. Maybe even in all of New York City? WOW. They really go all out over there, it’s incredible. The area is already nice to visit any time of year, with the beautiful homes and selection of eateries, but once the holiday season sets in and the lights are up it’s truly a spectacle worth seeing. The main zone to see the most elaborate displays are from 11th to 13th Avenues (also known as Dyker Heights Blvd) and from 83rd to 86th Streets in Dyker Heights, Brooklyn. However, nice lighting setups continue in pretty much all directions for blocks and blocks. It really is awesome.
It was cold out, but I dressed for it and had a great time. There were some vendors selling hot chocolate and snacks, as well as a few selling souvenirs. The vibe was very joyous and the Christmas spirit was in full effect. Snow would’ve made it absolutely perfect, but it was still amazing regardless and I suppose easier to get around on the dry ground.

It’s unbelievable how amazing this is. I’ve never seen anything like it. You did a fantastic job and Lucky you for being able to see it up close. The music was perfect too. I want to watch it again in case I missed anything! Thank you Paul🎄

Beautiful walk, really gets you in the spirit. These folks go above and beyond each year. Sure wouldn't want their power bill. Here in Northern CA it is outrageous. Merry Christmas POaul, missed you.
