I just got this today, and yes I know its has almost been 5 years BUT, I tried it and it is amazing! Although I did not use the exfoliating thingy or whatever its called and now I know how to use it. Thanks to you!

I'm definitely going to pick this up after I finish my current balm cleanser!

Drunk Elephant customer service said that the Bamboo Booster will always live with Slaai (it will never be sold/available seperately, and the shaker vial that comes with Slaai is the FULL size Bamboo Booster). They also said you should get 110 (nickel sized) uses from Slaai And 80 (just a very tiny pile the size of the cap) uses from Bamboo Booster I dont work for them, lol, just a mom of 6 that needs to make every dollar stretch so I always contact company directly. So in this case i contacted drunk elephant directly to see how many uses from each product in their whole line (and recommended amount to use each time). Hope this info helps! If you want I have the full list of how many pumps/applications in each of their products (and I figured up the math as to how much each use would cost). Lol

Oh this is interestingggg.. Thank you so much for sharing this info. You are awesome! It's good to know exactly how many uses you can get out of a product, especially before purchasing. It would still be nice if the Bamboo Booster came bigger and sold separately but it is what it is lol.

Kaila Naylor thanks for sharing! I’m a guy so double cleansing is new to me. I don’t wear makeup but do wear sunscreen every day. So I’ve always been fine with a single cleanse so I’m still figuring that out. I just finished a tub of Farmacy Green Clean and I liked it a lot but I’m gonna try this one next. This one has 20 mg or ml I think more than Farmacy for the same price so that convinced me. Plus the bamboo powder!?

Ok, so if you are wanting to use this as your only cleanse, you still apply with dry hands to a dry face and your body heat will melt it so the nickle size amount covers your whole face (my hubby puts it on his goatee). Then put water in your hands and lightly massage it over your face, it will turn into a sorta milky substance, once your whole face looks like that, you are free to gently wipe away with a cloth (as many prefer to do) Or rinse with water (what i prefer to do) Both ways work fine. I dont wear makeup either but when i am outdoor i wear suncreen, and I still have not needed any morr. Im glad you found a balm you already love! I have not tried that so unfortunately I can not give you a comparison. But good luck, and have a bleesed week! P.s. ive never tried to tag on here so sorry if i botched it up...lol

Yeah wayne goss said that the exfoliant if u use it every day it only lasts 6 weeks so im gonna use it once a week

@@SincerelyMissAsh When I try to rinse of this product, it comes off in weird chunks. Does this happen to you? I find it fairly difficult to rinse off with out following up with a separate cleanser immediately after.

Hey! If I put too much on then yes it feels like I have a residue on my skin but if I put less I find it better. I like that my face has a little layeron on it as it feels hydrating on the skin. I always double cleanse so that layer usually comes off anyways lol.

I know this is an old video but, you skin looks just the same as the makeup. It so smooth and even.

I feel like I haven’t been using it properly :( It cleans my eyebrow pencil and lipstick but when it comes to my foundation this product just leaves a greasy makeup-y mess? like it doesn’t remove the foundation at all. I really want to like this product :(

Also, is this basically an "oil-based cleanser" in the form of a balm? Or are balms and oil-based cleansers different??

It is a balm that goes into an oil.

I can never get it to rinse off my face. I always have to use a towel and wipe it off 😕

Try cleansing your skin again with a different cleanser after you have rinsed the DE off. I find that helps especially after toning. I don't mind the feeling it leaves as I like how moisturizing it is.

Do you think it takes off sunscreen well? I use very stubborn sunscreen. Your opinion plz!

It does but there is a film that is left on your skin after rinsing it off, if you don't like that then I would use the Tatcha cleansing oil..

Yes it does..

Not sure if Drunk Elephant would recommend a double cleanse with something else after using the Slaai...I use it and my eye makeup is particularly heavier and it all came right off. 🤷🏻‍♀️

It really depends on the individual but I always double cleanse to make sure my skin is super clean.

I was the same and then I read something they posted about too much cleansing stripping the skin of its acid mantle...so I only wash once in the evenings (and rinse with water only in the mornings) and so far so good! But yeah, everyone is different and if it ain’t broke... :)

Okay i love the cleanser but the smell is unbearable but a great dupe for people who dont want spend a lot of a money is florence by mills magic clean wash ot works the same and saves you money hpoe this helps!😊

$34?? Sheesh i paid £39 so they obv charge more in the uk. Mine came today havent tried it but when i opened the booster the cap was all dried and the black beads fell everywhere 😅 for a full size its bloody tiny !! The cleanser is massive though

The Currency change kills me too.. US dollar is way cheaper than Canadian dollar. 👎🏻 Oh no!! I know, it's pretty small but you don't need much at all when you are applying it to your face. The cleanser is a great deal for the amount you are getting!!

You can but not sure how it would work without mixing it with a cleanser or something... You don't have to use it with the Drunk Elephant Butter Cleanser.
