We just bought our first pellet grill ,It.s the 450B . just the two of us ,so it will be way more than big enough . We cooked two slabs of babybacks ,and I was more than impressed , (Mainly for my cooking skills) . For the first time, grilling on this pellet grill , it felf as if I had done this many times . Nothing should go this smooth the time out, but it was . My instructions said nothing about using the styrofoam packing to help in the assembly, It shows it in the instructions ,but does not mention it . Secondly , (on my own , ) I added a horozontal LEG brace between the two rear legs . This added greatly to the stability of the unit . I mounted it 13inches up from the floor . I used 1 inch aluminum angle and painted it gloss black , it blends right in . I sent e-mails and called and left messages to z-grill customer support many times , to let them know of the up grade ,so they can consider using that in the future . I have little faith in their customer support . Perhaps they are having a problem hiring help . As for the grill, they hit a grand slam home run ,with it . OH AND ANOTHER THING , When the cooking instructions say ( LET YOUR BRISKET REST FOR 6 TO 8 HOURS or OVER NIGHT DO IT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

CORRECTION Our grill is Model ZPG-4502B and we bought it at Menards in Livonia Michigan . It came in a brightly pictured box,not like the the one in the demo .

ALSO , You can use the handle on the pellet hopper as a cord holder . That's it .. I THINK

I love mine I usually cook on 250 settings for about 1 hour, then I’ll crank it up on High for another 30 min or until your Fat juicy Steak hits 160.

Yea, another grill, my fantasy grill has a pull out tray in front to vacuum the ash and fire box. The grease drain looks good, it channels down to another tray and into the grease bucket. Fire it up Tommy.

Cool Tommy The hands-on approach is always the best way to figure out if somethings good curious to see what you think I do like the overall design of the z grills in general especially for someone that has a grill and is looking for a smoker anyways have a great one🇺🇸🇺🇸👍

I own the 700D4E Z-Grill and no complaints so far. That has the PID controller on it. I believe this one has the older style controller? Curious to see how this one compares

looks the same size has my pit boss Lexington. i was looking at this 1 before deciding on the pit boss. looking forward to seeing this one cook

Did you ever do a video of a cook on it? Just got the 450b and kinda disappointed that mine didn’t come with a cover but it smoked some ribs to perfection

Welp. My Rec Tec started to rust with in a few months. So far so good with the Z... they very much the same.

I picked up my 450 b today for $235. hopefully, this is a good smoker for my first one

Hey! Just found your channel, and I love your content so far. I noticed though that it seems like after you got your 700D4E that you didn't seem to make much content using it after. Did you ever do the side by side comparison video? I'm new to the BBQ and smoking world and I am actually assembling my 700 D4E right now. Z Grills content is one that seems to be lacking across KZread with the exception of unboxing and the first burn videos. I'd love to see a Z Grills Playlist on your channel! I also saw that you retired from flooring to do this full-time! Congratulations! I can't wait to learn from your videos and watch the channel grow!

Sorry Dale. I did not. I get those Z Grills in for mainly assembly. That said, Stick around as all my vids are time and temp. Don't matter if its the Z, Masterbuilt chargriller or pit boss. Yes , If the bird is not to large . You will need to remove the top warming rack for extra clearence .
