Thank you so much for the instructional video! The "simple" setup instructions is useless. Couldn't have put it together without this video.

I don’t see why the first 2 minutes is necessary for screwing in the legs to the base when at 2:30 it’s impossible to assemble the legs with the base attached because it’s too narrow. Good video just wish you would’ve skipped that part.

If you have a warranty claim for heat bubbles on the coating of the grill chamber, they will ONLY send you the grill chamber (part 7 in owner's manuel). They will send this link if you ask for disassembly instructions for the removal of the temp probe. Be sure to also ask for replacement of EVERY part under warranty and send a picture. I would rate zgrill warranty process a 4/10.

Thank you. I assembled my grill and adhered to the initial firing up as per the manual. However, the auger and or auger motor makes a loud noise when it comes into operation. Has anyone had a similar problem. It is a loud vibrating noise which is irritating. Any ideas how to resolve this? I live in South Africa and there is no service on offer here.

It's the hopper pushing pellets into the firebox.

How long did it take to put together for all of you?

Well after 60 minutes of taking the lords name in vain due to the shitty instruction booklet, then watching this for 10 minutes, well I’d say about 75 minutes

At 4:04 That curved piece that slides on the grease drain pan: What is that called? I just bought the -450a and assembled it this morning and I do not have that piece.

yes i dont have that either. its a solid piece. i would rather have it where i can slide it. manufacture screwed us. lol

Looks like they have added a sear plate function to the grease drain tray. I bought my 450a about 6 months ago and my drain plate is solid. This one in the video has the ability to slide the sear plate to the side and exposing the meat to the bare flame coming from the flame pot.

@@powerlocks They do have a ZGrills Australia... maybe the sear function is only on those... who knows... mine does great without it and I have had NO problems with mine at all with many cooks on it now... hope yours works out as well as mine has...

I feel like maybe you should have labeled the washers better. I still can’t figure out which ones go where, none seem to fit right, and I’m not even sure if there are enough of them. These instructions are terrible.
