I love Bobber. It's just pure art and I can't resist that sort of beauty. It just looks so cool and classic at the same time and will deffo get attentions on the road. However, Speedmaster is unreal too. It's more like a comfortable version of Bobber and got more ways to be customised in a more classic look which I prefer. It just makes you feel more like a classic gentleman. So if I have to choose, a Speedmaster would be the one. Or I'll work my arse off to get both. :P

Nice review! I have a 2018 SpeedMaster purchased new in 2020. Beach bars are a personal preference. I know many hate it, but for me, it is one of the best addition after I coupled it with Motone up & over 1 inch risers. I'm a certified IronButt Rider, finished 3 1000 mile in 24 hour rides all on this SpeedMaster. With Corbin seats & quick release backrest, Madstad quick release windshield and Viking hard saddlebags, this is my weekend tourer, city ride bike AND cross-country tourer all in one!

I ran out to buy the bobber when it first came out. I still have my 675r but had to have that 17 bobber. Still happy with it in 2021 overall it’s a very cool bike. Only issue is with the tire pressure I dislike having tube tires. But haven’t tried out that seal kit just yet. Now I’m broke so I’ll keep em both for a while longer .

Speemaster, rear seat removed, blacked out, bags, with different paint on the tank besides their bunk red or blue, is the perfect Triumph for me. I saw one with Cranberry Red tank and was shocked at how good and natural it looked. Another with black parts off the bobber, made an awesome SM. Triumph also gave all the newest colors to all the other models but not the SM which sucks.

Bought the Bobber about 3 months ago, rode if for about 3000km but already sold it again due to lack in comfort. It's an amazing looking bike and great for small trips to the pub and back, but not that good for commuting let alone longer trips. Even installed a high-end Wilber's suspension but didn't do much for me (72kg weight). Still great looking though.

Thanks for the awesome review I’m looking into buying a speed master, I bought the Bobber TFC (thanks to your review about a year ago) and I love it. I like the last year’s paint scheme with the black and white tank with the gold pinstripes better than the black and white paint from this year. Do you think it’s a better bike? Looking at the specs they look about the same. I want to do a bit longer rides than I do on my Bobber, but I guess my big question is, are the bikes so similar that I’m just buying the same bike with different handlebars and foot peg positions and the pillion seat. I want to stay in the Triumph line but I’d like something I could drive every day but still keeping that retro look. Also thinking about a T120. Thank you again for all your awesome videos keep them coming! Best Regards, Denis

Recently had a side by side comparison with @Willie T's Speedmaster and I'm still not sure I made the right decision.

stick to drinking. the triumph is liquid cooled too. 100hp is a crank number that with the belt drive, translates to low 80s at the wheel on most dyno charts. peak hp means next to nothing, how often are you going to be at peak hp making rpm on a ride on public roads? the triumph makes more power where it counts. the scout is a nice bike and one id consider, so im not bashing it. belt drive is nice, but you do lose more power from hthe crank to the wheel vs a chain. all in all for this type of bike belt is probably my preference too, but it isnt a deal breaker.
