Totally agree! Getting a motorcycle is an emotional process, more importantly is, how it makes you feel by looking at it, riding it, the sound, smelling the fumes, the new tires etc. Love that Bobber Black! As always, great content, loved watching it!

I had one of these things for 9 months. Beautiful bike with a couple of major faults. The bike is l o w so suspension at the back has very, very little room. I put on an optional Fox shock. Made very little difference at all. But as i said keeping the design this low did not leave too much space for more travel. Sadly though the front is as bad & here Triumph should have added much better fork shocks. I have been riding 45 years & this is the worst most uncomfortable & potentially dangerous suspension i have ever dealt with. It will bottom out regularly & its not pleasant when it does. Just to give some background. I have owned 27 bikes & ridden a lot more. I am also fitter than most guys 20 years younger than me. So looking at the situation i really have to wonder if Triumph shouldn't redesign this great looking bike slightly & dramatically upgrade the suspension front & back. Sadly, 2 guys i ride with occasionally have also sold or traded their Black Bob's....this bike deserves a much better, much upgraded, fully adjustable suspension. I would rather pay more for quality than settle for 5th rate. C'mon Triumph.

Have a 2019 bobber. Phenomenal looking bike, real head turner. Everyone who I've let ride it says it is the most uncomfortable bike they've been on, especially if they've been on it for longer than a ride around the block after we swap bikes for a bit. Personally I haven't been uncomfortable on the bike at all, and I've put many miles on it at a time, also never bottomed the thing out. Probably because I'm a super skinny guy (6 ft at 140 pounds). I've just chalked it up as being a bike for the really young and skinny, not exactly a bike to be kept around to be used in my forties lol.

I have a 2018 Bobber. It's nice to see they increased the incredibly tiny fuel tank. The mid controls are perfect if you prefer a bike to be ride able. You can get really aggressive in the corners if that's your thing (it is mine because I came from a sport bike background). I can't say I agree about the highway riding. I can tuck forward and do long highway trips without an issue and haven't added a windscreen. If you are sitting upright then of course you are going to take an absolute beating by the wind. It is a shame if the 'not loud enough' statement is true about the newer model. I am well past wanting an annoying/aggravating loud bike for no reason other than to try and be cool. My bike sounds RAD stock. When the RPM is up in a lower gear and you let off the throttle, you get a nice crackle and pop from the exhaust. Nothing overly stupid, it just sounds awesome.

I haven't ridden the Black or the more recent models, but I have my faithful 2018 Bobber which is still a reliable head-turner. Mine came with a shortened rear fender and mini-apes. I've added white-walls, switched to clubman bars and custom saddle, and fab'd a side-mount registration plate. There are better bikes, cheaper bikes, faster bikes. But this one is MY bike. If you see a Triumph Bobber and love the look and sound, that's the best reason to have one.

Torque is actually 106 Nm (78 quoted in video is lb/ft figure). It pulls well because it's a pretty flat torque curve from much lower in rev range than rivals, peaking at 4000 rpm. It does run out of steam at higher speeds, having only 77 bhp, but that's not what this bike is about. Cheers from Australia.

Never even had a parking ticket in 25 years riding back in the UK. I've always had sports/naked bikes but I'm an old git now and the Bobber is more age appropriate. It can still give most bikes a scare up to 120kph or so. It gets a lot of attention among all the Harley's at my local. I'd be very happy with the MT09 (or 10) SP if I could trust myself not to be an idiot on it. Great bike.

But how does he behave on the road after 100 km/h - big dissapointment. I had opportunity to test Bobber Black this summer and I couldn't sleep for 2 nights after this test. Only thing i was disappointed was small tank. The last October i sold iron 883 and bought bobber 2021 with 12 liter tank. A sound issues i'm going to solve with motone x pipe.
