My first concert he said he was singing for the first time "I Am... I Said." I was a puddle of tears. I couldn't believe he felt like I did! I wanted so badly to go and hug him. I was 19. I'm 72 now, and thst song still hits me the same way even if I just think about it. He's a masterpiece of God's blessing to us. His artistry and talent are untouchable!

I took my youngest son to one of Neil Diamond's Christmas Concerts at the Coliseum in Richmond, Virginia in the late 1980s---early 1990s (?). It was my sons very first concert and one I am sure that he will never forget, starting with the' Laser-lit' Christmas Tree that sprouted from the floor, then shot to the ceiling with the rhythm of the songs playing in the background. It was a breathtaking memory, as I am sure it was meant to be. Neil Diamond is pure talent---the real deal---a legend in our own time. Were/aren't we lucky to be able to enjoy him in real time?

I know it's been almost 11 years since he fell in love with and married a beautiful woman named Katie. She lifted him out of that deep pit of despair that he'd been in since Marsha left him. Unfortunately Hurricane Katrina came- he was to perform in Biloxi,MS. Cancelled.

Just saw his 50 Year Anniversary concert last month. The man sounds as good as he was in the 70's. A voice like no other.

I have been a 2nd tenor in the Peterborough Male Voice Choir (UK) for over 7years and can truly say that Neil has been my main role model that led me to joining the Choir !!
