No auto tune, no fancy costume changes, no strobe lights, no gimmicky back up dancers, lasers or props. Just pure talent and heart. This is what a true artist is.

As a teenager in the mid 70's Two friends and I camped outside the Sidney Myer Music Bowl in Melbourne (a concert venue) to see Neil in concert the next day. Allocated ticketed seats were not around then. First come best vantage point. Neil came with three security guards to the cyclone fence and through the gate passed cold cans of coke (it was like 95°F) and autographed posters. He said to us, "I heard you slept overnight to see me in concert, thank you, it touches the heart. What a man. He is an extraordinarily humble and beautiful human being. Thank you, Neil. Will always love and admire you ❤

There will NEVER be another singer, songwriter, performer & gorgeous human being better than Neil Diamond. I will always remember seeing/hearing him in Atlanta GA at the Omni. It was a defining time. God bless you, Neil. You will live forever in my thoughts & love of your voice. ❤

Pretty Amazing Grace. Yes, it is. This is the first time I've heard this song. I sat back, listened, a long lost memory came a bit clearer, and I am a little stunned (not a lot). That source of grace is awesome and indeed quite amazing. The power of quiet sincere prayer is pretty special too and very humbling.

Neil’s songs say every thing a boy wishes he could say to his first love. And his last love.

I'm 63, I've loved Neil Diamond since I was 7 years old & heard that voice on the radio. KHJ,I lived in CA at the time.

A few days from today I will turn 58. I grew up listening to Neil. Thank You for making my childhood so musical.

I am 57 this year, and when I talk with my (much) younger co-workers who tell me how great their new generation of artists are, I bring them to the computer, pull up a fantastic artist like Neil Diamond, tell them to sit back and close their eyes, and listen, truly listen to the music and the words from one of the greatest era's in music. I don't know if it gets through, but if it does, these youngsters will truly appreciate what fine artists truly are. If the music doesn't speak to your heart, then nothing will. A salute to one of the great ones!

I totally agree with you,after listening to him for a while; I noticed that I understand the words!!That was news and a delight.The younger and the “not so younger “generation of singers, I had a great deal of trouble understanding them.But Neal;no problema!!!Just love him and his songs….

I grew up in the 60’s and loved Motown music. I still do. In the late 60’s Neil Diamond began to sing the songs he wrote. The first one I remember was “Cherry Cherry” and from then on I was in love with Neil Diamond and his amazing music. I had more of his music than any other artist. I was blessed enough to see him 3 times in concert; no front band, no fireworks, no 1 hour of his best songs. Every concert was 3 full hours of Neil Diamond and the audience. God blessed us with Neil Diamond and his music. Neil Diamond blessed us by sharing his talent with us. There is no other and will never be another Neil Diamond.

Of a - all the musicians, it is you, you Neil Diamond! Tah is simply excallent as a misician an enertainer. Thank you very much, for all these decades of meaningful, TUE & REALL MUSIC, even in the 21st. century.

First time I heard NEIL DIAMOND, back in 60's, I knew he was going to be GREAT,, I heard CANTE LIBERE AND MORNING SONG, TOOK the CD TO THE PHILIPPINES 1974, they never heard of NEIL DIAMOND, played over their loud speaker in the MUSIC - COFFEE SHOP next to a college, then a crowd appear , that was my introduction of the best music by anyone ,,,THANK YOU NEIL for the wonderful music and songs

Saw Neil in concert in either 70 or 71 in Eugene, Oregon. Have never forgotten the experience….absolutely fantastic. Timeless.

Can't imagine how solemn Neil Diamond songs are, can tell and feel the emotions can touch your heart. Again old songs never dies. Nowadays lyrics are awful which burns your ears, But old songs are forever pleasant and live. Young and old cherish it and inspired.

I am a massive fan of Neil Diamond, we all know his classic songs, but there are artists out there who would kill to have written "Don't Go There" it is such a clever song, warning of the perils of drugs, underage or promiscuous sex, all done without being crude as many artists of today are. Neil Diamond is the treasure of our lives.

I’m from Louisiana and I had the wonderful privilege of making one of his concerts because I’ve always loved him and his songs, this will be a little long but I think that you will enjoy hearing it, when we were in the concert hall it was totally packed completely all around him in a circle. He had song his first song and he stopped for a moment and started looking around the place in a 180 degree turn and he said wait a second here I cannot believe that all of you people paid to come see me and have to sit behind me because of the way the band was set up he couldn’t be seen by everyone, so he then said that he would turn himself and his whole band around and sing a song the other direction then turn again to sing to the other side. He did this the whole night so everyone got a good view of what they had paid to come see, he is such an awesome man and a heart of gold, the best entertainer that I have ever seen and I’ve been to many concerts.

Such a joy watching this video. Neil Diamond is my forever favorite entertainer. Every year he came to town I'd be one of the first to get a ticket. One year I went twice... & enjoyed the 2nd as much as the 1st. He is the best of the best. My children grew up listening to his music & love him to this day as well. Thank you Neil for bringing such wonderful music to us all for so many years.

Most of his songs I believe are so personal to him that when he sings them you can see and feel his emotions pouring out as Love On the Rocks. He is a true artist, he makes you feel every word he sings. Thank you Mr. Neil Diamond for your amazing work through all these years.

Neil Diamond, like Elvis and Barbra, gave his all in every performance. It was Neil and only Neil. He sang for so long that I don’t understand how he didn’t lose his voice. He was fantastic and got everyone involved. Great performer. 5 star.

Neil Diamond’s song “the Story of My Story” could not have fit the life story of Dave and me more. It was like it was written for us.from beginning to end. He passed away some years ago and true to the words “The Story of My Life Begins the Day you came and Ends the Day You Leave”.. Thank you for the song.
