    A lot of people don’t realize how labor intensive a full interior detail can be. If you go fast - results suffer. Just relax, put on some music, take a coffee and tea break, and settle in - you are gonna be there a while. AND, CHARGE ACCORDINGLY FOR YOUR TIME. Don’t work 8 hours for a number you could of got working at McDonald’s. CRAFTSMANSHIP COMES AT A PREMIUM - SO CHARGE IT.

    Incredible workmanship Yves. You have a LOT of cool toys in your shop. Guessing that was a Flex shop vac? Good one Yves. I've been waiting for this video. Gyeon has taken detailing to another level for sure! It's a far cry from the days of the Simonize or Blue Coral Wax at your local auto parts store. Can't wait to see what Gyeon has in store for the future.

    Yes, we have easy products we can use instead of traditional waxes, but some people still prefer them. Simoniz should be pretty decent carnauba wax still today. Maybe it was just used incorrectly before internet (before applicators and microfiber). People (like me) used old t-shirts and cotton waste for spreading and polishing, and most used way too much wax, so it never really hazed. And probably the paint preparation was also done very poorly. I would love to try Simoniz now, if it really is with original recipe. I'm sure it's a very good wax. In Finland it got a nick name Hiki-Simppa. Simppa is very common nick name for all Simo's, which is very common name here. And "hiki" means sweat 😂

    Gyeon products are great but you really need better lighting in your workshop, it’s so dark!

  • @GYEON_official

    @GYEON_official

    4 ай бұрын

    We made it dark for a reason. The main goal is to truly see defects or imperfections, the human eye needs contrast and by having dark walls the light is absorbed and not reflected. Fancy white walled studios with hexagon light setups may look impressive and can be great for customer delivery’s but are not what you need to do high quality paint corrections. Regards, Y.

    @@GYEON_official Well that makes sense for the paint and exterior but don't you need more light for the interior? It's certainly was too dark in the video to see clearly what's happening.

  • @GYEON_official

    @GYEON_official

    4 ай бұрын

    @joebloggs4191 That’s the choice of the video production team but even in an interior a dark inspection might show you what you didn’t clean properly. If it looks good in the dark with a single headlight, it for sure will look good in daylight. Regards, Y.

    @@GYEON_official Hi. Sprayed cleaner directly on fabric seat (not a whole lot), agitated with leather brush, sprayed water on seat and mopped up with microfiber. Have also tried to spray on leather brush instead of seat and agitate with leather brush and mopped with dry microfiber. I did not notice anything after cleaning, but a day or two later I noticed milky white stains in the seats. Also tried it on other surfaces like an old child seat and sofa with similar results. I have also noticed it stains bad with overspray. I have not had problems like this with other fabric cleaners. Maybe I got a bad bottle?

  • @GYEON_official

    @GYEON_official

    2 жыл бұрын

    Ok, for a light clean, I really suggest to spray it on the towel, agitate and wipe off with a second one. Letting product sit on fabric is not a problem as long as it does not dry out but more importantly is the waterhardness you have in your water, this can cause mineral staining as well. Regards, Y.
