I’ve been using Carbon Collective Nuovo as a light interior cleaner. It has some very light SiO2 properties and I’ve found it leaves a really nice finish, especially on black plastic - it darkens it but doesn’t leave it glossy or slippy.

This defintely has its place. For me its best use is for sensitive electrical components. Centre console switches, guage clusters, nav screens, painted interior panels or piano black trim because it doesn't leave any residue. Bonus is that is great for my OLED tv, smart phones etc. Does leave leather, door trim, dash etc looking dry though.

One of my customers had this and asked me to use it on his interior. Im like you id normally just stick to a very weak APC for interior wipe downs but after i used this i went and bought a bottle. Its a bit too expensive to use on bog standard valets but for higher end jobs and your own car its a really nice product. It seems to give a very subtle and even darkening effect making everything look factory fresh. Its also the best glass cleaner ive ever used even in direct sunlight. There has to be something else in it than just alcohol as it definitely adds a little touch of something to the plastics. It actually cleans quite good too. It pulled loads of black muck off a steering wheel i used it on and left it nice and new looking. Its just the price, 14 quid for 500ml and i estimate you use about 50-100ml per interior depending how heavy you apply it.

I tried the Gyeon ID. It's OK, but nothing special IMO. Good point about trusting the chemistry behind it. I too was concerned about it drying plastics out long term being it is 60% alcohol based, but as you said it could be other types of alcohol they are using among other ingredients. Oddly enough they didn't put an UV protection claims on the product either. Meguiar's Quik Interior, which is also alcohol based, works as just as well just doesn't smell as good. Since trying this interior detailer, I've moved on to using just water and ONR. A damp towel with ONR works extremely well on interiors with no harsh solvents. As usual though, Gyeon nails the scent and bottle/image of the product. To a fault possibly....
