Nfs carbon and underground series were my childhood. I miss those days.😢

I appreciate for the Shift games to came into existence.

For me, NFS UG1 and 2, Carbon, and ProStreet are not just masterpieces of games, but also art and parts of my childhood, even Undercover, too, despite all the bugs in that game. Black Box really was the goat, judging by my username, haha!

For me, Need for Speed Underground 1 and 2, Most Wanted and Carbon are great example how Need for Speed should be like, even older games like III: Hot Pursuit and Road Challenge. People these days, especially people born during late 2010's and 2020's have no idea what Black Box Need for Speed are and will never get the same nostalgic feel like people who played them during the 2000's.

@Automation That's how nostalgia works, it's really not missing out or else we'd be missing out according to Gen X on a lot of things. The new generation will probably see Heat & Unbound as the new best entries in the series and say the thing u are to the kids after them.

No games looked photo-realistic, even back in 2000. Also one game don't suddenly change graphics over time, Need for Speed Porsche had the same graphics since 2000.

Every time I saw nfs shift 2U interior gameplay.. always bring my memories back of how it feels so real and immersive it was on the helmet cam(not in this video tho).

I love to enjoy to the 90s NFS games on PS1 emulator, except for the horrendous Porsche Unleashed version for PS1 and V-Rally games that i never played. But i miss the PC ones from 2000 to 2013.
