Turbo system from Hot Pursuit is totally unbeatable in general. The set up and the sound effect, goosebumps everytime.

The only nitrous that makes me scared is NFS Prostreet. The screen shakes so much that it actually felt like you are going in high speed

Plus if you aren't careful in some corners or especially if you're trying to keep your car in control while driving at high speeds, you could literally wreck yourself.

Gran Turismo 4 and 6 have a more realistic approach to Nitrous. No blue flame shooting out of the exhaust or anything, but you hold down whatever button you had mapped for nitrous and you would definitely feel an increase in power, depending on how strong you have your nitrous set in the tuning menu. I believe there’s a faint hissing sound effect used for it as well.

@@cadronagaming hell no burnout has a shit ton of fame already it's blur that's insanely underrated, it is truly the underdog of all racing games but not many people bothered to get good at it it's an infinite amount of fun if you have friends to play with and the career on hard is an adrenaline rush

Although it hasn't featured in this video, Battle Gear 4 Tuned(2006 Taito/Arcade) has very unique Nitrous system called Overtake Switch. It can be used when you tune up your car's engine up to Lv.3. If your car has NA engine, 3 bottles of NOS will be added, and if your car has turbo/supercharger engine, you can boost up your compression rate up to 3 times.

nfs mw & prostreet nitrous gave me real sense of speed 👏

Midnight club LA nitrous felt so satisfying because of its sense of speed and it gave me a feeling like I was driving a car And I also find the Nitrous in NFS, underground 2 Most Wanted and Carbon very satisfying because of the taillight blooms and sense of speed Also Blur’s nitrous is just plain badass

The NOS sound seems also it is taken from 2F2F... I mean after all NFS UG1-2 were really based of 2F2F so I'm not even surprised anymore at this point.

I really like what Ghost did with nos in 2015 and heat. The flame isn't too much but also not too little, and it's not too noisy but the sound is still pretty nice. But the turbo in hot pursuit is perfection. That is some of the best eargasm material out there

You could have added the nitrous from Forza Horizon 2 present Fast and Furious. It's the only Forza game (in this case it's a DLC) that have nitrous.

Blur and Hot Pursuit honestly has the most unique nitrous. I love it.

Yo, i can see you got the black sky bug in burnout 3. To fix it you need to switch to "software renderer" with f9 while the game loads a race. Switch again to hardware while racing

My best favorite racing games, my all time, the NFS Most Wanted, NFS Carbon, Burnout, & most of all, Ridge racer, my 1st favorite racing games, before, initial D, & Wangan Midnight on arcade games,,☺️😊😏

GT4, 6, and 7 have NOS or KERS/Overtake on some hybrid race cars, and the latter only on GTSport. Besides F1 games, 2 games with "nitro as KERS" are Driveclub (P1s and C-X75 iirc - also the MotorStorm buggy has proper nitro) and PCars 3 also lets you hybridize any car to act as boost,

I will say NFS The Run had the closest to real life flame. NFS MW 2012's NOS flames look like NFS 2015/Heat which look like a blue trails coming from the exhaust but not flames. Even if it made realistic I'm pretty sure the flame won't be that dark.

Pretty sure rivals had the most realistic exhaust effects from the nitrous, cause the flames occur only when there's a sudden surge in the combustion, the rest are just invisible fumes

The best nitro in my opinion is NFS Heat , you have to be really careful when you use it, and when I cat careful , I mean it , you go supersonic speeds and the camera zooms out very far , and your probability of hitting an incoming vehicle is 1826286X

Agreed. The night time chase while dodging traffic and trying not to flip your car is intense. Pro street is good but in raw gameplay, heat is on another level, even if it doesnt look like it

Yeah, I still wish we can see more of that. Like with FH2 Fast and Furious expansion when Nos was accessible. I’m still wishing we could have that feature on FH5 for sure.
