Superintendent Hare was told exactly who was there including the women and children and still proceeded to rake the Hotel with shot. 13 Police were sent on a bounty to kill Ned and his 16 year old brother.The Police made a meal out of that hunt lol

The police party that murdered the three officers at Stringybark Creek, and two sets of handcuffs to secure the two Kelly brothers. Not necessarily the government was extremely corrupt at the time basically making the police a giant gang for the rich land owners who liked to harass settlers for there land not to mention his death led to massive police reform not saying he is a saint but he wasn’t evil either

They deferred rental payments during droughts and fires. The Royal Commission found that the police acted properly regarding Ned Kelly's criminality. The only police reform was that more police were employed, they were better trained and better armed, and were paid more appropriately. If you claim the government was corrupt, let's see your evidence?
