I found an article about it that actually confirms both dogs also survived! 💜 The little one barked and was pulled from the wreckage and the other was found alive a few hours later! It's one by CNN in their weather section, published Monday, April 29, 2024.

My heart filled with joy when I found out the dogs survived. God bless their souls.

FYI...Saw this in a CNN report: Shortly after the brothers’ reunion, rescuers pulled tiny Nico from the rubble. Hours later, their other dog Rogan was rescued by the Human Society just down the road from where their house once stood. Both dogs are doing OK.😁

That was truly a miracle they and their dog survived!

Our prayers were heard. Seems day after day we’re praying for the middle of the country and the folks facing tornadoes. I’m so glad when the news is better than it seems it could be. Hallelujah.

Was not their time. I am sure they will live their lives a little different from now. God has blessed them.

So grateful they BOTH survived that kind of incident and without even any major injury! I hope they both go on to lead awesome lives.

Boy, I thank the lord that I haven't had to survive one of those. Thank the lord that these young people survived this awful weather.

Glad everyone survived. Just amazes me how cheaply houses are made these days. A good solid house should not have been destroyed like that. Needs to be housing standards that require all outside walls be anchored into the ground along with the roof of a house also being anchored. A house should be able to with stand Ef 3 with just some damage. Not total loss. If you live in tornado alley a storm shelter should be mandatory. These builders are building cheaper and cheaper houses. A house could not even survive an Ef 2 tornado these days they way they are made.

Wow. That sucks.

I was in Grand Island June (the night of the twisters movie) and all of this brings back a lot bad memories.

Wow! Glad they are ok. What about their dogs? 😫

I'm dying to know. Were they able to stay in the basement before being sucked out? Apparently they found a dog they were looking for because the dog was in the basement.

So grateful they are okay but how can the station not ask about the dogs?!?

Man it REALLY pays to have methods of telling where a tornado is and which way it is moving and in this decade this is a very very possible thing for all of us to do haha.

It was later reported that they found the other dog alive as well.

Seen several "tornado stories" where a pet owner got sucker up into the tornado cuz of tryibg to get kitty kitty and pooch to safety. Its called training. GET TO SHELTER. Fluffy and Fido often are found just fine under furniture afterwords Truth IS, a HUMAN life is far more valuable than worrying about a pet. 🤷🤦
