"Bones Tries Something WeIrD" should be its own snack review series lol. It's slowly becoming my favorite part.
What I love about this channel is that it breaks down some of the nerd side of house without being too over the top. The pizza rabbit hole is DEEEEEP for sure, and I can't wait to see you tweak and perfect and play with dough recipes, toppings, and making it accessible to all.

Agreed. If they start exploring sourdough starters, Biga vs Poolish, and room temp fermentation, they will never leave the hole lol.
I spot some Killer Hogs on that shelf! “LAYERS OF FLAVOR!”
Just want to say it's okay to do non-bbq foods on this channel! The way you and the team (and friends) go about cooking is what makes the channel so great!
When I was in the Navy we called Naples “the armpit of the Med” until we visited Alexandria, Egypt. Sailing to Naples from Alexandria was almost as good as going home, almost. I found that Italian pizza, while different than American pizza, is equally as good. I have been to enough countries over the years to learn to enjoy each port/country for what they offer. I have never been disappointed. Darlington, South Carolina
The mustard trio made it to the rub wall. Cheers from Wisconsin.
Yes, please more pizza videos, and the toppings are endless, especially when combining pizza and BBQ flavors. Of course, the BBQ chicken and homemade pepperoni are a given but the BBQ meat toppings are endless. Could you imagine incorporating a crispy pork belly chicharon as a topping? Plus maybe down the road, you could consider building a homemade outdoor brick oven. On a side note today, 05/16/24 is National BBQ Day. Thanks for all of the content, it's such an inspiration.
DW learned me so much dough knowledge with this video, feel like I am actually excited to try to make pizza at home.
I like the newish Brit guy, kinda adds to the show.
This is badass! Hell yeah! Homemade pepperoni, salami!, barbecue pizzas of all and every kind! Italian sausage!
Those pizzas looked fantastic! Really great job fellas. So, if you're going to start breaking rules, how about some sort of Panuozzo sandwich! Texas style of course...
Totally digging this video! I love making pizza and have used a pizza steel in the oven for the past couple years. My Yoder arrived a few weeks ago and I got the pizza oven accessory, so I'll give this dough recipe a shot. Well done gents!
As if the barbecue and guest appearances by bourbons weren’t enough! Add pizza in the mix and you’re pretty much painting my perfect life. (Psst… more bourbon!)
Definitely make more pizza!! Toppings are endless!
Made this tonight…. No fancy pizza stove just the good old air fry oven at 500 and it turned out good considering…. Sauce is spot on …. Thanks for sharing
Pulled pork pizza. It’s a wild concept but an amazing way to use a leftover smoked pork butt. I use a smoked cheddar for the cheese and bbq sauce.
brah i can literally taste the Neapolitan one when it came out of the oven
Fresh mushrooms, alfredo sauce, and crushed red chile flakes is one of my favorites to do. You can dress the crust with a light drizzle of truffle oil for extra umami.
Been waiting for the Chuds pizza content. Love my wood fired oven!
You definitely should try one of my "unsober ideas" - Brisket pizza - neopolitan dough ball, EVOO base with a light sprinkle of cotija - smoked brisket 'bits' or slices, then a drizzle of homemade chimichurri sauce - bake -then finish with sprinkle of cotija and some pickled onions. * edit* adding footnote that the unsober idea originated as a brisket ravioli with all the above - then i just made it to pizza. but maybe you go down the pasta dough rabbit hole next!
Bradley, one of the pizzas I grew up with was from Cal's Pizza in Garrettsville, OH. The Sicilian White. It had no sauce, just cheese and sliced banana peppers (or peperoncini, I don't remember exactly). When I was in high school while working at a pizza and rib joint, I tweaked this concept and basted the dough with melted butter, then added cheese, banana peppers and pepperoni. Each are amazing in their own way. You don't even miss the tomato sauce.
bbq sauce base, mozz, pulled pork, pineapple and some green of some sort.
The rabbit hole will get you 😆. Definitely up the hydration and use a poolish starter
Man, after watching this I want pizza!! Guess, I'm heading to the kitchen to whip a couple up!! Thanks for the inspiration and great video!!
If you can put it on a sandwich it can go on a pizza. Pulled pork, cabbage, and bbq sauce of choice is a go to. Try spreading out the dough on a well-oiled pizza pan and then direct heat over the grill/chud box. Smoke tomatoes for the sauce. Or use basil pesto or alfredo.
Great video! Watched it today and realized it was National Pizza Party Day, so going to be trying this for a pizza party tonight!
Made a chili dog pizza last night. Used mustard and some ghost pepper ketchup for the sauce, cheese, dabs of shredded meat from the smoked brisket chili i had in the fridge, with a slices of grilled up thick hot dog. So dang good.
"Let's Eat More Pizza" YES PLEASE!!!
So cool! You got my endgame oven!! I am planning on getting it to complete our backyard remodel!!
When I was in high school I worked at a mall pizza and burger joint, we had a pizza called the porky pig that had ham, bacon, pulled pork, and bbq sauce. It was pretty good even for cheap mall pizza, making it all from scratch would be great.
We have an Ooni we use for tailgate season and whenever else. Make the proper dough from scratch and everything. Its amazing. Things you could try out of the ordinary pizzas: Breakfast pizza (eggs, meats, pepper gravy for the sauce), Thai chicken with peanut sauce, chilis and scallions, cheeseburger pizza (cold shredded lettuce and pickle slices on after the cook)
Glad you like your Gozney. Been enjoying mine. A favorite in our house is olive oil base, brisket and street corn topped with pickled onions and bbq drizzle.
Brad, Nick, Dave! Wow, now I want PiZZa. Jalapeno, Pineapple, Mushroom, Sausage, Onion, Olive?
Love it! Time to try it with a wood fire next.
I never realized there was so much science in a pizza dough, awesome job mate's
Hey Brad, I cooked a brisket and three racks of ribs for a family gathering last Saturday. Unfortunately my BIL’s kids were sick, and so his household stayed home, meaning we had five fewer people than we expected. So we had quite a bit of leftover ribs. I had the idea of making fried rice with it. I cooked some rice before work Tuesday morning, and while I was driving home, my wife pulled the meat off the bones and chopped it up, so when I got there we were ready to start cooking. The sweet BBQ rib meat was amazing in the savory fried rice. You should definitely give it a try.
Can’t wait to see what else you make in the Dome. I’ve done sourdough bread, crispy duck, wood-fired beef Wellington, and the list goes on. Love the Dome!
A cuban sandwich done as a pizza is the most requested in my backyard. Chicken bacon ranch and even big mac pizza can be an interesting pizza. Come to think of it pizza of any type is great. The pizza rabbit hole is a trip.
Is this just the natural progression of all pitmasters? I went down the pizza rabbit hole over six months ago, and now I'm fusing all my bbq recipes into pizza toppings 😂😂😂

I have also gone down the pizza rabbit hole lol. Chicago tavern style and Neapolitan style are my favorite. I did also buy a multi fuel pizza oven. Sometimes I do wood fired, sometimes I run propane but I’m always amazed at how good they are.
One Bite, Everybody Knows the Rules!!!!
I worked at a pizza shop decades ago with my best friend at the time, and we would get wasted after work, and when we came in the next morning we would make the best hangover breakfast pizza. Simply stretch the dough, add alfredo sauce, cheese, crack 8 eggs, put them on top, then add sausage, and some hot sauce, bake until the eggs are over easy. Since you make your own sausage,I think you should make it!! Its simple but amazing!
Love dipping the crust in olive oil, parm, and chili flakes
Crunchy on the outside, soft in the middle, perfect, just like an armadillo 😝
Love my Gozney Dome, and their new dough mixes are very easy and work surprisingly well if you want to eat same day. Better than pre-made dough from the grocery store.
my favorite pizza has always been a pepperoni, peppers and pesto. i know it sounds weird, but it's freakin amazing
Great Video guys and awesome Pizza 👌🏼
Great video! Thanks for sharing.
I have been dying for these pizza videos so I can yoink any and all dough recipes from you. My Kamado with the 22' pizza stone makes some pretty goal "coal fired" pizza.
So we started doing this to help with assembling pizza and to get a crunchier crust. Pre cook your crust in pizza oven about 45 second. Then you can easily assemble pizza and not worry about crust sticking to anything.
Brisket topped pizza with the dough smoked over the CHUD. Mozzarella smoked. Tomato smoked. Hell, EVERYTHING smoked!
My vote is for more pizza vid's. I'm thinking a BBQ Meat lovers pizza!
Dave doing the meme 9:47😂
Definitely make more pizza. I’d love to see how you could combine your bbq into pizza. You have amazing dough recipes so I’d love to see what you do with pizza dough variations.
16:18 Hilarious!!! Nice work guys
Well played gents. They look killer.
Yeah man! More pizza please!! How about a smoked mackerel pizza with capers lemon and charred green onion with a buttery cream sauce! Don’t worry I got you Bones!
Absolutely wanna see more Pizza! Poice
Generally you want to INCREASE hydration when baking pizza in a home oven (lower temperature) compared with higher temperature bakes.
Looks GREAT!! Bradly...PLEASE do home made pepperoni and salami!!! DAmn...nów I need a new cooking "toy"....
Looking good!
Gozney for the win! So excited to see that you have a Dome now - even more excited to see what fun recipes you come up with! We have a Roccbox and Arc XL and are deep down into the pizza rabbit hole....
I'm so jealous of that oven. I've been using Ooni ovens for about 6 years and they're just not as good as that Gozney Dome. I want one so bad. Enjoy your pizza journey, I love it as much as cooking BBQ.
Yess please! More - thank-you-very-much ;-)
Smoky Brisket with a white horseradish cream sauce would be awesome.
Nice work fellas 😎👍🏻so hungry now live in New York and get some pizza
Awesome!
Would love to see you try No-knead pizza dough (Jim Lahey’s recipe is good) - and my favorite toppings are 1) pulled pork pizza (BBQ sauce, pulled pork, pickled jalapeños (throw some Sichuan pepper in homemade pickled jalapeño brine!), red onion, and cheese. And 2) Taco meat pizzas 🤤
Looks like Bradley is getting into the pizza worm whole like I did years ago. Love my Ooni Karu 16 multi fuel
Nice!! How about a pizza oven attachment for the Chudbox…we’ll call it the Papa Chudd
Would be nice to see your pizza dough making process like you do in all of your other videos.
Pulled pork and mac n cheese with a BBQ sauce base is to die for.
Hands down….Chorizo and jalapeño pizza. I have made it, it is amazing….i highly recommend.
You are definitely developing in the right direction. Super good comtent here.
One slight recommendation I would give is to reduce down the sauce. You can use more without worrying about soggying up the dough and it is a great dipping sauce for the crust.
For the algorithms bay bay!!!!
Would love to see you make your own pepperoni. Your take on BBQ pizza would be great also (great leftover killer). Tomato sauce or bbq sauce, what cheese goes well, other toppings you would use, etc....
If you hadn’t subscribed to Wilson’s bbq, do it now it’s another great channel
Made a 100% poolish pizza earlier this week in an electric oven. Max temp, heated the pizza steel for an hour and it came out perfect. Can be done without a $500 accessory.
Thanks Brad. How about working on the "Perfect Dough" series?
Here’s an idea, how about an Al pastor pizza? Chili oil base, marinated pork, mozzarella, red onion, pineapple, cilantro, Romano and finished with lime infused olive oil.
Now I want pizza
You should try to make it on the Weber Kettle. I made 3 pies for the first time last weekend on mine and they were great. I don't have the pizza oven add-on. I just used a Lodge pizza steel.
Very impressive. You should do more Pizza's
hey Brad, so if you get the nu2u gozney pizza door or something similar to that it'll cut your pre-heating times in half, the gozney has a major issue with heating up / pre-heating the stone so having the oven door that can withstand the heat while pre-heating saves you a lot of time
When I work for Little Caesars instead of using the red sauce I put ranch on the dough and then the toppings and it came out bomb
Bruh. I ain't going to all that work. But I loved the video. Keep it up. Favorite KZread channel.

$1800 for a pizza oven. Hold on hoss. I'll do that for a smoker but a pizza oven. Get the F**K outa here!
I luv pizza... and my dough sometimes turns out ehh... so I'm trying this recipe thanks guys for the video... also I have a Blackstone Pizza Oven and I luv it... looking forward to more Pizza nights with Chud! Wagyu Pizzza anyone?
No where even close to this but I do smoked brisket and pineapple on my Weber. Challenge sent!
Chorizo corn pizza from the Texas electric co-op magazine a few years ago. Try it. It’s sort of a play on elotes.
2 words, Panuozzo Napoletano. Thank me later. Loved this video!
Looks good, guys! Pizza is a great base for using leftover BBQ of all kinds. I've used brisket, pork butt, and of course chicken. It's all good! Sub in BBQ sauce, chimichurri, pesto, etc.... No such thing as a bad pizza.
I would love to see a Hawaiian kalua pork and pineapple pizza BBQ style 😋
Try Roman style pizza. Way less water and oil is added to the dough plus you can top it with anything and everything all at once.
Definitely need a homemade pepperoni!
I can’t wait for Brad to make all the Italians angry now 😂

You have to make a smoked brisket pizza! 😋👍
Midwest cast iron pan style. *LET'S GO.*
Not sure if you have seen Chef Tom from ATBBQ but, he has some pretty good pizza recipes. Plus I’ve seen him rock a Chudds hat in some of his videos
Awesome! I would think to remove the seeds from the tomatoes like I do when making pasta sauce. I would love to save a step :)
