Aborigines used to farm Eels in the Souther areas of Australia 12,000 years ago. To smoke and preserve for National and International consumption. Yes Picinini Ponds have endless given World Heritage status for the Eel processing ponds 12.000 years ago and export to the world. History is a Wonderous thing

The term is Aboriginals not Aborigines the latter considered a racist term from Colonial days ... better still First Nations People or Indigenous. From Amnesty More than 370 million people across 70 countries worldwide identify as Indigenous. They belong to more than 5,000 different groups, and speak more than 4,000 languages. 'Indigenous Peoples' is the accepted way of referring to them all as a collective group - the equivalent of saying 'the British', or 'Australians'.
Never too late to join the world i guess, cultures and civilisations have been cultivating, harvesting and trading there local resources for thousands of years, what's the big deal
During Quarantine i started watching australien tv, because german tv has less content than the anglossphere. is it an illusion or do australians really lack respect for nature and the aboriginies? I do not intend insulting anyone. i just dont know how to ask less directly

Yeah mate why would that be? It’s racist to assume that a nationality has something to do with hate against a group of people or lack of respect for nature. Could you maybe give some clues as to what your on about?
