This guy is a total red flag. You don't want to be with someone who is incapable of freely expressing himself to you. A lot of mind games here. Gives me the willies...

I honestly think Kin-chan was the better man. Unlike Irie’s constant mind games, he was always honest and upfront with Kotoko and always put her first. I’m glad in the end he got a much better woman who truly cherished him.

I love him more than Naoki in this drama 😭

Yamada makes pretty good expressions throughout the entire series😂. These threats were pretty much like half promises that really got too close to happening. Not just from Kin but even in season 2 with med school.

thank you for uploading these Naoki povs, I enjoy watching your character analysis of Naoki-kun. He is a simple person with low EQ, his character gets a lot of hate from the western audience and is misunderstood as a narcissist. But in reality, he is just a simple person who is getting used to the feeling of falling in Love. He has his falls but so does Kotoko, but this series thought me that love is all about accepting the person for whom they are. Naoki accepts Kotoko with all her Clumsiness and chaos, he enjoys her being chaotic at times which makes him feel alive, whereas Kotoko accepts Naoki with his cold attitude and emotional unavailability at times, She knows that he is slow on feeling things and is forgiving enough to look past it. Both are flawed, we can't blame one and defend the other. That's what makes them a compatible couple. I have witnessed the same with my parent, being an Asian male my dad was kinda cold, at times was not emotionally available, my mom is the kindest person I have ever known, but the love other and I can see through their actions.

The live actions definitely do a better job at portraying him like 1996 and these ones. The anime definitely rubs him the wrong way to an extent

Naoki definitely wanted to see where they went. It's interesting that Kin-Chan made a big deal that he was going to get Kotoko's first kiss, but he actually gave Naoki the idea to get it instead.
