22:17 you just skimmed over that, but I want to emphasize just how much thought gamefreak put into that game. Without telling the player ANYTHING about Ghetsis maybe trying to overpower N in a dominant fashion, his team of 6 Pokemon proves that. If you don't look at his team as a whole and compare it to N's, but rather just play the game and beat his pokemon one by one (as I did tbh) you would never notice. Also, both of their teams consist solely of new pokemon in that region, which means the pokemon design had to be slightly adjusted or be preplanned to some degree to make that plotpoint happen Just the attention to detail and the ability to continue or at least indicate the presumably next step of ghetsis' plan with only showing those 6 pokemon in his team is absolutely astounding and mindblowing to me. I don't think there's any other instance where the team building goes that deep into the lore (except blues raticate)

You're totally right! Since Unova's the main story only has unovan Pokemon in it, the Pokemon designs and story had to correlate together. Also I've always loved that Ghetsis has the pseudo which until that point in Pokemon was always given to the champion or an elite four member (morally good, heroic characters), which also makes me think that hydreigon being so menacing looking was intentional as it is Ghetsis' ace.

Great video! Had no idea about the N being a Zoroark theory, nor the…. Ghetsis one lol. I love gen 5 and seeing you go through everything is awesome. Thanks for your work!
