​@@benjaminbrown7146 Well it's true we didn't call it Synthwave at the time, but LOADS of acts fit in really well with what became the scene and inspired it... acts like Gina X, jacket Weather, DAF, Danse Macabre, early OMD, Modern Art, Turquoise Days etc etc... if there are any acts there you've not heard of I can recommend :)

So happy to be included in this mix with some other amazing artists!!!

Such collections are good because, like the band’s albums, you can listen to them in their entirety. Even if there are hotel compositions, they do not create a mood or atmosphere without the rest. It’s especially good to listen to all this through speakers so that the music fills the whole house

It's easy for synthwave music to start to all sound the same with a lot of these generic mixes I often come across... These picks though...these are some genuinely unique songs, at least imo. Oh for sure. It's super easy to tell the difference between a genuine effort like yours and some bland thrown together slop that's probably AI-generated. Ironically the music genre celebrates nostalgia for cyber-stuff and computerized sounds, but then when a playlist is made entirely by one it sounds like forgettable trash 🤣

When I check the video to see almost 2 hours have passed, I can't believe it. This can only be achieved by the cohesion of tracks. I have yet to find one you've made that disappoints.

15 seconds in already and it is like, bliss, and shades of 'Armin Van Buuren' track 'Communication' from the Gatecrasher days of old. Morgan Willis - Skyline, love those WarOfTheWorld type, steam samples, King Palm and Radio Waves, just great, and then Narvent has that CBL sound to it, Axl Rhodes - Dead Reckoning, simply stunning otherworldly and..and.. i'm so impressed right now!

At first i was like "yeah, good playlist" Then I've heard "Memory Reboot" and i was like "yeah no. it's damn perfect"

I like this kind of music. It's a modern twist on 80s synthwave which is kinda interesting. I'm thinking about playing GT6 again and thinking about making a custom soundtrack for the game and this kind of music is perfect for the My Home menu.
