The sequel Blade Runner 2049 to me is one of the best sequels ever made in motion picture history, with a soundtrack, second to none ( that's me though) 1982's Movie was ahead of its time. I will get around to watching it. If you haven't seen 2049, you gotta see it!!👍👍 all round!

I've been that guy living in Tokyo sitting out on the balcony way up an apartment block, a blurry constellation of window lights and neon through typhoon level rain. I never felt so alone, or so at one with myself. Bladerunner and the incredible soundtrack by Vangelis said it best.

The scene with Deckard on the balcony of his home and drink in his hand battling his own demons while Rachel is inside.... and cars flying past in the night is such an iconic scene. Was a short scene but Ridley Scott captures so much with that visual without words that till this day can't be matched.

First, in my honest opinion, Blade Runner followed by Tron are two of the best Sci-Fi movies today. As far back as I can remember I was always that kid that knew a lot of people but for some reason, I didn't mind too much of being alone or wanting to hang out in spaces I didn't know anyone. This goes all the way into adulthood, I'm 46 now. Dark, rustic sci-fi movies, ambient music like this in some weird way always gave me comfort with being alone a majority of my life even with being in past relationships. Something about Sci-fi, dark scenes, Cyber punk, ambient music has always fascinated me and gives me peace while reflecting on my life and being grateful for every single thing.

It really is. And one that isn´t really talked much about. This wired squirmy and floaty feeling in your somache, a tingling in the spine, a heavy weighting, melancholic yet also deeply serene and wonderous feeling. Nearly floating in your mind. And when you close your eyes you can nearly feel that world, the rain coming down, the glow of neon lights. For a moment siiting in a noodle shop in an overcrouded city thats as hostile and depressing as it also is beautiful. And it really is hard to put into words, because it´s also much more. Quite a viceral feeling, and also pretty incomprehensible. Because it´s not an emotion we feel in any other context really. It´s also not a very defined one, it´s neither sadness, wonder, awe, yet at the same time is all of them.
In a meditative mind, your music carries me to another world where things are wholesome and the way its supposed to be. And escape is necessary for everyone.

It might be dystopia, but we have the best view in the house.
Years ago I played a game on the Dreamcast called Phantasy Star Online. I remember clear as day the hours I ploughed into that game, knowing I’d always get to the same point and never be able to beat the boss…but I didn’t mind. Whenever I played it, walking round the space stations, spending credits in the store, buying new armour, I’d get lost in it. The music was similar to this. Futuristic cyber-like. Anytime I hear this now it triggers me memories of PSO and it takes me back to being a kid again, lost for hours in front of my TV, not a car win the world and fully engrossed in the game. Amazing piece of music, keep them coming ❤
Im not lonely, but im alone. Yet when im not alone, I feel lonely I just thought of this quote. Like it if u want so i can get back here again and listen to this
I've had this running in the background for days, I think I'm addicted!
Im glad to find people with the same obsession with the dystopian vibes in comment section thanks guys
I want an open world game like this, with next gen graphics. And, not like Cyberpunk 2077, with all of it's flashy lights, and over the top action, but something like traditional cyberpunk; With a dark, melancholy environment, on a dead, post-modern world, with a really subtle soundtrack like this in the background that plays while you wander the streets as a Blade Runner, seeking replicants. That would be so aesthetic, and it isn't the cyberpunk game we need, but the one that we deserve.

This is so unique and poignant. I really love ambient music in general, but I don't think any of it has moved me as emotionally as this does. Beautiful work! I have this on while I am about to head to bed and it is so relaxing and surreal. Cheers
Liked and subscribed. You are really talented. This music is exactly what I've been searching for.
This is perfect. Your creations have become an integral part of my personal stress reduction program.
It's very reminiscent of your older videos from 2 years ago. Gives me this warm welcoming feeling, like i'm safe (sounds cliché I know). Hope you're doing all well, David!
Thanks to Vangelis and his music, Bladerunner 1982 is a masterpiece. New Bladerunner is also a great movie.
Your material is top notch and I use it in the background while researching... it's amazing. Thank you for sharing your gifts with all of us... truly grateful.

awesome music to escape the realm that we sometimes trap ourselves into but this kind of music sets that state of mind free.

Gorgeous! Really enjoying this, well done!
This is very beautiful, David ❤ I have been away for a whole week, no internet browsing, no nothing, just a total vibe of my own. So much to catch up with right now.
I love the artwork for the video. I'd love to have it as a background on my pc. great video
Not only the sounds are phenomenal, but also the visuals. I feel like I'm there.
I have sat on a balcony in this kind of rain and enjoyed the whole sensation. But this music would have made the whole thing perfect. Thank you.
