To everyone who's studying with this music: Checklist: • A bottle of water, at least 1 liter. Your brain works better if it has enough water and drinking helps you to concentrate 💦 • Your charger. You sometimes don't even notice that your device's battery is going down, so better have it plugged in all the time 🔋 • Your headphones. You will be able to focus more with headphones, because it blocks background noises. Also, if it's a late night study session, you won't wake up anyone, 🎧 • a tea or coffee. Coffee keeps you awake, green or black tea can make you feel more awake as well. ☕ • Your study/work stuff: your laptop/tablet/ phone, a few pens, paper or whatever you need. 📖 Anything else you could need, what about a heat pad, a blanket, a good lamp, your pet so you have a study buddy 🐕 Reminder: After an hour, you should stand up and walk a bit around. Better stop the music or put on different music for the break. Open your window, even if it's cold outside. Fresh air will make it better, trust me. You could also lay your head down on your desk for ten minutes and listen to a podcast. Or, if you have to read a book, listen to the audiobook of it. To anyone reading this, everything will not be fine unless you have Jesus Christ. Because the real problem is sin, which deserves death, and we can't save ourselves from that. Please tell me I'm not alone in this thought. Ever since I started listening to synthwave, chillwave, dreamwave.. I feel a strange, but welcoming sense of calm. It's hard to explain. My coworkers, friends and family have said I seem more calm and relaxed. I'm not quick to anger anymore. I'm also having a hard time relating to people lately unless we talk about life, the universe, evolving... I have so much more to write and describe but I just can't put it into words. All I know is my anxiety and depression has lifted and I'm very inspired lately too. Anyone else feel like this?

Imagine driving lonely during sunset on an empty straight road in the middle of the desert with this music, the calm, the feeling of peace with the world, no one can touch you, in that moment you are happy, you, your car, your music and the orange of the last sun reflecting on the desert

Hotline miami worth it

I remember listening to this in 2018 when it came out. I would stay super laate at my library until closing (12am-1am ish) and just do physics and program to this music. Now its nothing but nostalgia. Thanks for getting me through my exams. Efence-Spaceflight is the one soundtrack that kept this on repeat for me.

inspiration for those who are willing to read it. instead of being embarrassed about even trying, be proud that you are strong enough to keep going on even how difficult or even impossible it may look. the only thing limiting you is yourself. don't get peer pressured to give up because you think you aren't good enough. you are more than enough. instead of folding to the mold be your own self even if at sometimes it looks like you can't do basic shit you can excel in what you want. just take the time and keep working.even if you don't notice you will get better and better after each failure. you only truly fail if you give up. you always have a choice, don't choose to do nothing. think outside the box. just because one way doesnt work dont resort to quitting. have a good day. :D

Generally I have problems focusing. My husband listens to this and recommended it when I work. It sends me into maximum efficiency mode.

Nostalgia is incredible. But don't lose sight of living in the moment. Peace.

Synthwave is such a complex genre. You can feel lonely and sad but happy and comforting at the same time. It is one hell of a feeling. Wish I was born in the 80’s!

I've started to experiment with jazzier playlists lately but with this I got a lot of "hey, what is this? I kind of like it" and a few "Mr. Shield, what is this TRASH you got on, I prefer my music lit."

I like to think the visual art is that of a low flying spacecraft scanning the horizon with on screen instruments displaying the polygon render 😃

The first track makes me almost cry. So beautiful. EDIT: The third one too.

The 80's wasn't THAT mind blowing.The music coming out of England was great. No web, no KZread, no Twitter, no cell phones, no real computers in anyone's price range, if you even said you listened to New Wave music football players would try to beat you up, We all thought the future was going to be like 1984 big brother or we would be blown up by nuclear war, The world was really conservative and not everyone wandered around in neon glasses and leg warmers. You actually had to write a check from a bank which sucked, Now the good part was the music changed for the better and people weren't glued to their cell phone. People said hello by voice not text. You didn't have to be politically correct on everything. We weren't wimps and they had hair spray that was like super glue which was cool. I expect your generation to do great things as well and look back with fond memories.
